Chapter Fourteen Back At The Saloon Car Surveillance, Langata County, Nairobi: Hours had passed. It was almost three in the afternoon and some of the officers had started nodding off. Suddenly, a tap on the back window of the saloon car startled the undercover cops within. Afande Jared instantly woke up from his siesta and stepped out of the car; just as Caleb was rolling down the window on the other side. To their surprise, it was Davis Nyoro, his hulking figure and rugged facade glaring down at them in the saloon car. His hands were raised as he blurted out, “Come on Afandes! Honestly, ni nini mbaya? (Meaning: Honestly what is wrong?) My hands are raised; I am unarmed and I don’t want any trouble. Look, I know you guys are cops; anyone with experience can spot you from a mile away.
