Dante “Yes…Yes!” Another object clattered onto the floor, but the sound was quickly engulfed by her moans. I clenched my jaw as I thrusted harder, looking down at the woman bent over my desk. Penelope’s skirt was a mess of rumpled cloth on her waist, barely enough to go completely over the curve of her ass. Forcing back a sneer, I didn't hesitate to punish her by slapping one of them, the smack ringing through the office. “Not a f*****g sound! I don’t want you to make a f*****g sound.” I seethed through my teeth, increasing my pace. More items fell to the floor. I could feel her walls clenching tighter, her thighs starting to shiver as she arched her back even further. She eventually let out a moan and began to spasm against me before slumping over the desk. “s**t,” I cursed out, slipping out of her before tucking myself in. Sitting on my chair, I reached for the cigarette in my pocket before realizing that I was out. Small sounds made me look up. Valiselooked up at me, her face still flushed from her climax. Her eyes lowered further, where my erection still laid, unsatisfied. I remained impassive to it “Leave now.” I ordered, trying to shut out the frustration brewing inside me. She looked disappointed, but I could care less. With a huff, she pulled up her skirt and left the office, her heels clicking into nothing. Only after the door shut did I let loose. “f**k!” In a single swipe, I swept all the remaining objects off the desk, papers flying around. I punched the desk as if it would ground me, but I couldn't get rid of the anger, frustration brewing in me. The years had taught me that there were two main ways to relieve stress; fight or f**k. Most of the time I went for the latter and now I couldn't even feel satisfied. Hell, just yesterday the sight of Valisebent over my desk would have been enough and now I couldn't feel anything. And it was all her fault. Taking out a glass of scotch I reserved under the table, I drank it without hesitation, savoring the burn in my throat. Yet even that couldn't keep me away from the reminder of her. Alina. The sight of those green eyes in the darkness, glistening with tears. I had neglected looking into this part of the city until I heard that new people were trying to undermine me, no doubt following that bastard's orders. So I decided to come personally to teach them a lesson. She was the last thing I'd ever thought to see. She looked different, but the same. Her hair was longer now, her curls untamed but still so damn - I gripped the bottle tightly. No. I hated her. Loathed her with everything in my being. Seeing her brought back a skew of emotions. Shock, anger… Hatred. She was truly something. Those doe eyes and that gentle voice she tried to speak to me with tonight was the one I once loved. It was those lips that had comforted me, kissed me, moaned my name. And it was those lips that broke my heart. Bitterness swelled in me thinking about the past. I was young back then. A poor, orphaned fool who had fallen for a rich pretty girl who gave him the time of the day. I had leaned onto her affection like a stray dog, doing anything for her. She had cruelly left me in the rain, putting me down. That was how she'd seen me then no doubt. A dog. A plaything that she could play with and treat however she liked without blinking an eye until she got bored. She'd held power over me that I'd willingly given her. The power to break me. That was years ago however. Since then I've changed. Fought my way through to rise in power. To become the man I was today. A knock brought me back to reality . I turned just in time to see Gino stepping in. If he was phased by the scattered items on the floor, he didn't show it as he stepped towards me. “Boss, we've received some information in relation to Mr Medici. One of our men spotted him near Tina’s club. ” he said, That made me sit up, my insides growing taut. That bastard. He was getting more brave to dare to encroach on my club in my territory. “Get more security in that area.” I barked out..Gino nodded, about to leave when a thought crossed my mind. “Wait,” I called out, thinking back to earlier tonight. Alina looked different. Yes, she looked ruffled no doubt because had been abducted, but that wasn't all. Her clothes looked threadbare and low quality, something I would know from living on both ends of luxury and poverty. It didn't match the look of a wealthy heiress. Not to mention that she had looked thinner, her face more hardened. After much thought I turned back to him. “You remember that woman you took home? Get me details on her.” “Yes Boss,” I relaxed in my seat, knowing that he would neither ask questions or waste time. True to my thoughts , it didn't take long for him to return with the information I needed. Reading the file , I didn't know what I had expected, but it was definitely not this. There was no mention of her family's name. She had taken on a new surname and a new identity. Even more shocking was her living situation. I would never have believed that the woman I knew would live in a rundown apartment and was taking on mediocre jobs to survive, but it was clearly stated here. What happened? I immediately shut out that question. I didn't care or want to know what the hell happened between her or that damned family of hers. What I knew was that at this moment, she was struggling in this city. A bitter smile curled up my lips as I looked over the spare information I had gotten. It felt like karma to see her in this state, but it wasn't enough. I thought I had put her behind me but now I could still feel the hatred burning. I wanted revenge. Vindication of some kind. And I was going to get it. Her situation was a pity for most, but for me, it was an opportunity. On for revenge. The plan formed in my mind. It wasn't going to be difficult to corner her to an offer she couldn't refuse. And then after… Dropping the file, my hands clenched into fists. I was going to break her.
