After the light knocked them all out, Eric woke up first. The light was still lingering in the air, so he sprinted to the room where Balder was.
When Eric first entered the room, he froze. He caught sight of Balder floating in midair, encircled by what appeared to be a blue bubble. Balder had wide-open, completely white eyes, and his tall, blonde hair had turned dark blue as his golden wings began to fade.
He was so mesmerized by the view before his eyes that he didn't feel Lydia and Emily standing beside him, as both of them followed the scene with wide, open mouths and enough shock to leave them speechless.
