Atlanta gave up on sleeping since she didn't feel safe in the place that was used by demons. Besides, she was worried about Sasha and Eric since they didn't share anything through the link or come back yet, so she decided to take a look around the area to clear her mind; maybe try to pull Emily out again too.
As she was walking slowly on her toes, a hoarse voice stopped her, saying, "You aren't trying to escape, right?"
Atlanta turned back to look at Aiden, and with a sigh, she said, "Come, kid, let's find something to eat."
Aiden followed her in silence as both of them walked back to the river that they had passed the day before, until Aiden broke the comfortable silence, saying, "So, how exactly are you gonna fix it?"
