Chapter Two

I pulled out my phone then pulled up the app to give a tip as he looked up and smiled, “WOW, One hundred fifty-dollar tip. If it weren’t against policy, I would give you my personal number so that you could just call me for your rides.”  I smiled, “Think nothing of it. I will make sure that I request you every time. Enjoy the rest of your night.” Abby laughed as she opened the door for us to get out of the car, “You are truly unbelievable and such a sweetheart as well as a big pain in my ass.” I gave her a wink, “Let’s get out of this car and party. Plus, you still love me.” She rolled her eyes as she got out of the car, “I can’t think of a reason why I wouldn’t.”   A line of people was waiting to get into the club as we heard the club bumping to the beat of the music. We walked to the back of the line, “Damn, I should have worn a jacket. You would think I would realize that I would need one in the middle of October in Boston.” She chuckled, “I told you to bring one.” I rolled my eyes as she smiled. She acted like the cold wasn’t bothering her. It has been usually warm for October but tonight it was cold. I hugged myself and bounced as I spotted the guy that was in front of my building earlier in the evening. I leaned over the crowd of people as he talked to the bouncer as he pointed down toward Abby and I then disappeared into the night club. Abby went on her tippy toes, “Hey, who are you looking for? Did someone just catch that eye of yours?” I shook my head as I looked at her, “No, I thought I saw someone I knew but it was nothing.” As soon as I finished my sentence, I turned to find a tall, dark and muscular man standing in front of me. He was so tall that I almost ran into his chest when I turned, “Good evening ladies, I heard that the two of you have been freezing out here. I was requested to allow you two to pass the line into the club to warm up.”   Abby’s mouth dropped as she pushed me out of the line to follow the man to the door. He opened the door to the club as we heard people in line yelling that it wasn’t fair. I turned to the bouncer, “Excuse me Sir, but can you tell me who requested us to skip the line? I want to thank them personally.” He looked down at me with a straight face trying not to crack a smile, “Please call me, Rick. I am sorry to inform you that I cannot give out that information. Please enjoy your time and if anyone bothered you or your friend please let me know.”   He rubbed his hands together, “I am itching for a good knock out.” I chuckled, “Well Rick, please call me, Monica. I understand more than you know about sharing information. But I think we can handle ourselves. Plus, Abby there. She is a biter.” Abby lifted her tiny fingers and gave a shy wave as Rick leaned towards me, “Sounds like my kind of girl.” I laughed as I walked into the club with Abby as Rick blushed. We walked to the bar as guys were already ordering drinks for us. We didn’t have to get close to the bar and who were we to say no to free drinks. Who was I to rewrite the history of guys ordering drinks?   Abby sat up from our table, “I am going dancing. Come with me?” I shook my head towards her as I felt that every time, I walked that the dress was riding up on me. She frowned, “Come on, Why not?” I tilted my head, “Because every time I move this dress starts to climb up my legs. Never mind dancing.” I took a deep breath, “I just can’t or at least right now.” I pointed to the bar, “I will sit at the bar for a few. Maybe some liquid courage will get me on that dance floor.” She looked at me as a light bulb went off in her head, “You little devil you.” I shook my head as she held up her hand, “You are not wearing panties. I just have created a demon in there somewhere and it looks like it wants to come out and play.” She smiled, “Go get some liquid courage and I will meet you out there.” I rolled my eyes, “Yay, Yay. I look for you a bit.” She took off as I walked up to the bar.   There was one seat left at the bar at the end as I walked over, I held down my dress and carefully got on the stool. I looked at the drink list as I heard a man with a husky voice, “Well hey there beautiful, what can I get you?” I looked over the list, “I am not sure. Tell me what the best drink is here….” I looked up from the list, “You?” There was the man from earlier in front of my business and who ran to the front of the club while Abby and I were standing in line. He ran his hand through his soft black hair as he leaned over, “What me? Tell me what did I do? Do I need to take you by the hand and run for the hills, so we are never seen again?”   I tilted my head at him and decided to play along. I leaned forward as I looked into his hazel eyes, “Monica Winters, yes we need to get out quick before those assholes find us. You are my only hope.” I threw my wrist to my head and acted like I was going to faint. He stood quietly for a few seconds looking at each other than busted out laughing. He smiled as he leaned back towards me, “I like you. The name is Jack. Here try this one and it is on the house.” He handed me a glass of liquid. I took a sip and moaned as he raised his eyebrow then looked at me as he was waiting for feedback. “Oh My God, what is that?”   He looked around and gestured for me to lean closer to him. He leaned over the bar and whispered, “s*x on the Beach.” I felt the heat of his breath as he slowly spoke in a low sexy voice. I felt the goosebumps that was starting to cover my body as I sat back in my chair as I blushed, “Well, it is the best one I have yet, Jack.” He smirked then wink, “If this place wasn’t packed and you were my only customer. I would be sitting next to you all night to watch you enjoy that drink.” I winked, “Ummm, Wow. Thank you.” He laughed, “I have to go back to work no matter how distracted I am by your beauty. I blushed, “Oh you are just saying that to get a nice tip.” He chuckled as he looked at me, “Ask any of the workers and they will tell you that I am friendly, but I am never fluster as I am as I talk to you.” I shook my head as he walked to go back to work.   I watched Jack work for a good half hour. I saw how he would reach for bottles, walk, smile and sneak a couple winks that he gave in my direction letting me know he knew that I was watching him. I allowed time to pass when Abby ran up behind me and pulled me from the bar onto the dance floor. I felt that the drinks that Jack kept on giving me gave me the liquid courage I needed. He knew when my glasses went dry when a new one was arriving. I looked back at him while he had a devil grin on his face as he watched me walk from the bar. Abby yelled, “Come on, Let’s dance.” I shook my head, “Okay, Okay. Let’s do this.”   For the first time, in a long time I have felt sexy and starting to allow myself to feel it as I began to dance. I would sneak a look at the bar to find Jack standing memorized by the way I was moving. Abby leaned over to me, “So spit it, who is the sexy bartender?” I smirked at her, “I think he is the reason why we didn’t freeze our asses off outside.” She looked over, “Oh, there is more than that. I can tell by the way he looks at you and the way you look at him.” She swayed her body to the music, “Oh. My. God. You two are into each other.” I shook my head at her, “Slow down, Abby. I just met him.” She lifted her eyebrow, “Oh yeah, I bet he gave you his name.” I winked, “Jack.” She laughed, “Oh like in Jack in the Titanic which is your favorite movie.” She chuckled, “You could be his Rose.”   I shook my head as we placed a show on for Jack. I moved my hips from side to side but when I looked back, he was no longer watching. I leaned into Abby’s ear, “I wonder if he got bored with me?” Abby looked towards the bar as she smiled and whispered, “I don’t think so, Baby girl.” At that moment, I felt two strong hands cup along my hips as I jumped. I haven’t been a fan of people coming up behind me which I realized that Abby was trying to give me hints that he was there since she has gotten my fist into her face a couple times. I tilted my head back, “Jack?” He leaned into my ear, “Monica Winters?”   He smiled as he pulled me into him moving along with my hips. I leaned back into him with my head against his rock-hard chest. I lifted my arms to reach over my head to touch his neck as he pulled me closer. I could feel the bugle of his pants against my back side. I smiled as I looked up at him, “I thought you had to work?” He leaned his head into my ear, “Lucky for me, the owner is my best friend. He allowed me to take the rest of the night off.” He chuckled “I told him that I am lovesick, and he said he will take over the bar.” I shook my head where I didn’t believe in love at first sight or at least I thought I didn’t. I have been interested in him since the moment I saw him walking the dog.    He placed his lips close to my ears, “Tell me. Where did you recognize me from?” I shook my head as he chuckled, “When we met at the bar, you yelled at me saying you. So, it seems like you have seen me somewhere. I don’t remember bumping into you. It makes me wonder how long you had your eyes on me,” I blushed, “Why would you say that?” He laughed, “Ms. Winters, You are not the type of person that would recognize a stranger with a no bang moment.” I laughed as he took his hand off my hips to take my arm to turn me towards him. I crashed into his chest as he placed his hands back on my hips and pulled me closer to him. He was inches from my mouth as the smell of him was making me weak to my knees. I forgot that we were in a pack full club and it was just the two of us.   He smiled, “Come on, Baby girl. When did you notice me?” He placed his lips on my neck as I tilted my neck for him, “I... I... Saw you when I was pulling out of my place of work while you were walking your dog” I debated to mention that I was the owner of the workplace. I decided not to say anything because sometimes people treated me differently once they realized that I was a big-time business owner. He tilted his head, “I was walking Bear?” I laughed at the name of the dog because it was fitting for the poor dog. He looked like a bear.   Jack smiled and pulled me closer as he lifted his face so his lips were closer to mine, “Baby Girl, Can I kiss you?” I looked into his eyes as I nodded, “Yes, Please.” He leaned into my lips as he claimed them with his. His lips had a sweet taste as I felt like time was standing still as my mouth partly opened to allow his tongue to wrestle around with mine. He moaned as he pulled away when I felt a breeze getting too close to the small of my ass. I looked down as I started to blush as I tried to fix my dress in his arms as he asked, “What is wrong?” I leaned into his ear and whispered, “My dress is rising up to give the club a show.” He threw his head back and laughed, “You know how many panties had made their way on the stage. I am sure no one will notice.” I blushed as I shook my head, “That would be one thing if I had them on.”   He stopped moving as I blushed. He reached around my waist to grab the end of the dress and pulled down to make sure my ass was not hanging out for the world to see. He placed his lips against mine as he placed his hand on my ass and squeezed. He moaned, “I can’t take it anymore. I want and need you.” He looked over to the back of the club, “What do you say we take this upstairs.” I raised my eyebrow at him, “Upstairs? What is up there?” He chuckled, “My apartment. Reason why I work here. What do you say?”   I looked over to Abby as she was wrapped into Rick’s arms. If you asked me what two animals look like when they are heat, I would say Abby and Rick. I looked at Jack, “Isn’t he supposed to be working?” Jack looked over to them and laughed, “He had the same thought I had. Get the night off to find love.” He yelled, “Way to go buddy? Rick looked over to him and gave him the thumbs up. Jack looked at the ceiling as Rick whispered into Abby’s ear. She turned her face to me and smiled then gave me a wink. Jack grabbed my wrist and started to walk towards the bar, “Let’s go.” He walked behind the bar after he let my wrist go. He grabbed a bag then a bottle of Vodka. He looked over to the guy standing behind the bar as Jack held the bottle up to the guy. The man looked at Jack, the bottle then me as he gave Jack a smile and gave him a nod.     As soon as we reached the stairs, he pushed me up against the wall slamming his mouth into mine. He released as he had me walk in front of him. He was against me on each step. I looked back and he said, “Nobody gets a show besides me.” I smiled as we reached the door, and he placed his key into the door as he kissed my neck. He opened the door guiding me into the loft with his hips glued to me. He pushed me towards the bed as he unbuttoned his shirt then allowed it to hit the floor, “Jack” He pulled me back into him as he kissed my neck, “Yeah, Baby Girl?” I sighed, “I need to tell you something.” He kept kissing my neck when he stopped to turn me around to look into my eyes as I said, “I am sure you never heard a twenty-nine years old woman say this.” He stepped back as his eyes widened, “You never…” I took a step forward, “Right. I have never.” He placed his hand on my hip as he pulled me to give me another kiss that was soft, “It is only appropriate for me to ask if you are sure you want to do this.” I looked into his hazel eyes that darkened as I nodded my head to tell him to take me.   He shook his head, “Baby girl, With you words. Do you want this to happen? No pressure. You say no and we can just talk. You will not hurt my feelings.” I leaned forward into his lips. I pulled back as I took his bottom lip with my teeth as I whispered, “I want this.” As soon as I said that I wanted him, he lifted me into his strong arms as my legs wrapped around his waist and my arms went around his neck. My lips found his lips as I claimed them. I felt his hands move under me as he unbuckled and undo his pants as they fell to the ground. He stepped out of them then laid me on the bed.
