Maddox listened to the mayhem over the phone. It was hard to make out what was happening, but he knew he was running out of time. The engine of the limo screamed as he accelerated. Maddox rounded a corner almost on two wheels, the limo fishtailing as he fought to stay in control while maintaining speed. One more turn and the mansion would be in sight. Madison gripped the seat firmly as her father drove recklessly, panicking as they whipped around corners. She frantically searched for a seatbelt, but there was none in sight in the back of the limo.
