I had to cover my mouth with my hand to stifle a gasp. The parrot who spoke with the Children of Raith below was indeed James Gomez, the uncle and familiar of my ex-girlfriend, Sarah Gomez. I would recognize that tricolored plumage anywhere, but it was his voice that sealed the deal for me. He sounded just as irritated and impatient as he did when I first met him over two months ago now.
