"Ah, trying to start your rule out on the right foot," Hakan smirked at me with an amused grin. "As if that is something you could do after the humiliation you caused me."
"You brought that upon yourself," I said coldly as I began to push past him, making my way through the forest. "That should teach you a lesson on keeping a wolf from her mate. Especially an Alpha."
