Chapter 92 Amber POV Darkness.Endless. Cold. I couldn’t feel my body anymore. Couldn’t hear the battle… couldn’t hear Ripley… Nothing. Just silence. And her. “You’re still here?” Fenrya’s voice echoed, amused. I turned slowly. She stood across from me, but not like before. Not a voice. Not a shadow. A form. Tall. Powerful. Ancient. Her eyes burned with the same glow that had taken mine. “This is my mind,” I said, my voice steadier than I felt. Fenrya smiled. “No,” she corrected. “It was.” The ground beneath my feet cracked slightly, darkness spreading like veins. I clenched my fists. “I’m not giving it to you.” She began circling me slowly, like a predator. “You already are,” she said. “Every time you lose control… every time you give in to fear… I will grow stronger.” I swallowed hard. She wasn’t wrong. But that didn’t mean I was done. “I’m still fighting,” I said. Fenrya stopped. Then laughed. “You call this fighting?” she asked. “You couldn’t even stop yourself from hurting him.” That hit. Hard. Images flashed, Ripley being thrown. The blood. The look in his eyes. My chest tightened painfully. “I didn’t want that,” I whispered. “But you did it,” she said coldly. “And you’ll do worse.” “No,” I said, louder this time. The darkness around us flickered. Fenrya’s smile faded just slightly. “No,” I repeated, stronger. “That’s you. Not me.” She stepped closer instantly, her presence crushing. “You think you’re different?” she snapped. “You think you’re stronger than what you are?” “I know I am,” I said. For a moment, everything went still. Then the ground beneath us shifted again, But this time… Not just breaking. Changing. Light flickered through the cracks. Fenrya noticed. Her eyes narrowed. “Interesting,” she murmured. I took a step forward. “This is still mine,” I said. And for the first time, She didn’t look completely in control. “THE GATES ARE BREACHED!” The roar echoed through the castle as the massive doors finally gave way under the relentless assault. Wood splintered. Metal snapped. And the enemy poured in. “Fall back!” a commander shouted. “Protect the inner walls!” Warriors clashed with the incoming rogues, the sound of steel and claws filling the air. They weren’t holding back anymore. This wasn’t chaos. This was an invasion. Inside, the halls turned into battlegrounds. Guards fought desperately, trying to hold the line as wave after wave pushed forward. “They’re too many!” someone shouted. “We can’t stop them!” Outside, Drago, in full dragon form, roared as he tore through enemies, fire lighting the battlefield. But even he couldn’t be everywhere. They were being overwhelmed. Inside the throne wing, Ripley stood his ground, eyes locked on Amber, on Fenrya, as the walls trembled around them. “Ripley, we have to move!” someone yelled from the doorway. He didn’t look away.“I’m not leaving her,” he said..Behind him, the sounds of battle grew louder..Closer.,The enemy was inside. And still, he didn't move. If he walked away now… There might not be anything left of her to come back to. Fenrya lunged. Fast.,Her hand shot toward me, But this time, I moved. I caught her wrist. The second our hands connected, power exploded between us. Light. Darkness. Clashing. Her eyes widened slightly. “That’s new,” she said. I gritted my teeth, pushing back against her. “You don’t get to take me,” I snapped. The ground shook violently beneath us as cracks of light spread further, breaking through the darkness. “You’re learning,” Fenrya said, her voice lower now. “But you’re still weak.” “Maybe,” I shot back. “But I’m still here.” I pushed harder, And for the first time, she took a step back. Just one. But it was enough. Outside, my body trembled. Inside, I stood my ground. Fenrya’s expression darkened. “Do you think this changes anything?” she asked. “No,” I said. “But it’s a start.” The light around us flickered stronger now.,Not enough to win. Not yet.,But enough to fight.,And I wasn’t done.,Not even close. Amber POV – Taking It Back I felt it. That shift. That crack in her control. Fenrya stepped back inside my mind, and for the first time… I didn’t feel small. I didn’t feel like I was drowning. I felt… angry. “You don’t belong here,” I said, my voice steady despite the storm around us. Fenrya tilted her head, studying me like I was something new. “You think one moment of resistance changes anything?” she asked. “No,” I replied. “But it proves you’re not as unstoppable as you think.” Light spread further beneath my feet, pushing back the darkness inch by inch. I could feel it now, My memories. My emotions. My life. Ripley. My dad. Everything she was trying to take. “You’ve been feeding on my fear,” I said slowly. “On my doubt.” Fenrya smiled faintly. “And you’ve given me plenty of both.” “Not anymore.” The moment I said it, ,I meant it.,Something inside me locked into place. Solid. Unshakable. The darkness around us shuddered. Fenrya’s expression tightened. “Careful,” she warned. “You’re playing with something you don’t understand.” “No,” I said, stepping forward. “I’m taking back what’s mine.” I pushed. Not with force, but with will. With everything that made me me. The world around us exploded in light. Fenrya staggered back. For the first time, She looked surprised.
