Little Alpha POV
I woke up really fast. Like… really fast. My eyes popped open, and I sat straight up in bed, my blanket falling into my lap. I didn’t even know why at first… but then I felt it. That warm feeling again. Amber.
She was okay. I could feel it… like a tiny happy glow in my chest.
‘She’s awake…’ I jumped out of bed, not even caring that my hair was probably messy.
“Dad! Dad! Can we go see Amber now?!” I shouted, running out of my room.
Daddy looked up from where he was sitting, raising an eyebrow.
“Good morning to you too,” he said, trying not to smile.
I bounced a little on my feet. “Pleeeease! You said we could go together!”
He sighed, but I could tell he wasn’t really mad anymore.
“Alright, alright. Let me get your mother, and we’ll head over.”
“Yes!” I pumped my fist, already heading toward the door before he even stood up.
Little Amber POV
I was already awake. I was sitting on my bed, swinging my legs a little, holding my teddy bear, when I felt it again. That warm, happy feeling. Stronger this time. My head lifted quickly, eyes lighting up.
‘Alpha…’
Nxy stirred, her voice soft but sure. “He’s coming…”
I slid off the bed, my feet padding softly across the floor. ‘He came yesterday…’
“Yes… and he’s coming again.” That made me smile really big. I hurried to the door, just as it started to open. The door opened, and there he was,Alpha. For a second, we just stared at each other.
Then, ,“Amber!”,
“Alpha!”
We both ran at the same time. He crashed into me, and I wrapped my arms around him as tight as I could. He hugged me just as tight, like he never wanted to let go.
“You’re okay!” he said quickly.
“You came!” I said at the same time. We both blinked… then giggled a little.
“I was really scared,” he admitted, pulling back just enough to look at me. “I thought you were hurt…”
“I’m okay,” I said softly. “I just got really tired…”
“I saw you,” he added. “You were sleeping with your teddy bear.”
I gasped a little. “You peeked?!”
He nodded quickly. “Yeah! King Drago, let me! I didn’t wake you, I promise!”
I hugged my teddy bear between us, smiling.‘I know…’
He tilted his head. “You know?”
I nodded. ‘I felt you…’
For a second, we just looked at each other again… like we both understood something, even if we didn’t really know how.Behind us, the adults were watching quietly.
Adult POV
Drago crossed his arms, eyes narrowing slightly, not in anger, but in thought. “They’re getting stronger,” he murmured.
Alpha’s father exhaled slowly. “…Yeah. That bond isn’t normal.”
Levonna stepped closer, her gaze soft but worried.
“They can already feel each other… even in their sleep.”
Silence fell for a moment as they watched the two children laugh together, completely unaware of how rare, how powerful, what they shared truly were.
Alpha grabbed my hand suddenly.
“Come on! You gotta show me you’re really okay!”
I giggled. ‘I am okay!’
“Prove it!” he said, grinning.
I squeezed his hand back. ‘Race you!’
We both took off running down the hallway, laughing like nothing bad had ever happened. But even as we ran… that warm glow between us stayed. Stronger than before.
