27 Clone TimeKellor was forced to sit around for another seventy-two hours before Raymond reluctantly came to see him in his quarters. The knock at the door startled him from his disillusioned reverie. ‘Come in,’ said a subdued Kellor. The door opened and Raymond entered – and though he was smiling warmly, his expression, and his cold blue eyes as they settled on him, sent a chill through Kellor. Raymond did not speak - and in a reversal of the roles Kellor was used to, he felt the need to fill the silence by blurting out the first thing that came into his head. ‘You must be the MkII that Lock was telling me about?’ ‘I have a name Major Kellor.’ ‘Yes, you’re right.
