"You didn't tell me the meeting would be so crowded. Why am I hearing tons of voices from inside the boardroom?!" I ask Caleb, but he ignores me and keeps checking his phone. "You are not saying anything, Caleb. Where is Nick?"
He halts and lifts his brows at me and I swallow anxiously.
"What were you expecting, pretty face? You were the one who said you could handle it, and now you are nervous?! Really?!"
"I am just curious," I cut him off.
Caleb has been rude to me since he met me, and I am starting to think he doesn't like me. Earlier on the elevator, he said nothing to me till we got here, even though I had tons of questions and he knew it.
"And I don't care. Do you want the job or not? I have things to do with my time, and you are not being helpful."
