Lacey the missing girl

-next day-

The next day feeling empty

on my way to work I see a car that says help people with cancer and donate $5 I was wondering how every time I walk past by one of those cars may ask for money I never donated it and now I know why because I didn't have someone who had cancer ,and now that I do I wish more people would donate not saying that I don't have a good job or anything I just would help.

when I got to work everybody was looking at me, and someone came up behind me and hugged me but like I said I don't really like hugs but somehow I have them back,

I turn around and it's Finn,of course it's Finn

“I'm sorry about your dad.” he said with a sad tone

“ Thanks.” I said trying not to cry

“ if you ever need anything just tell me okay.”

then everybody started saying they were sorry about my dad but I really just wanted to find this little girl it's like nobody want to find it I mean she still counts just because we found Abby doesn't mean we didn't find Lacey.

I walked into Ashley's computer lab thangai that I have no idea what it is

“Oh hey Gabby, do you need anything?” Ashley said with a kindness in her voice

“ yeah actually can you look up missing girls with the first name of Lacey?” I said looking at her with not a single emotion on my face

“ yeah sure just give me one second.” she said typing really fast on her computer

“Ah ha found one,well actually there's a ton of them, told me to put these out for you?” she said looking at me curiously

“ yeah sure just put them on my desk when you're done thanks.” I said walking out the door

I walk up to Bricks office and ask him if I can announce the missing girl to everyone.

he says sure that's fine.

I walked out of his office to the railing.

“ okay listen up everybody.” I said looking at everybody

I got everybody's attention and everybody looked at me.

“ okay there's a missing girl out there approximately 13 years old now we need to find her before she gets hurt her first name is Lacey I had Ashley running through the databases of all the Ashley is missing in the past 6 years because that's approximately when we think she went missing there's going to be tons of folders coming out of Ashley's office in a couple minutes, I need you to grab a stack and go through it I need to look for about the age 13 years old Quit missing approximately 6 years ago and has been kidnapped around this area. That's all I can tell you right now. But I'll tell you about the rest of your profile when I get more information.” I said looking at everybody than walking down the stairs they are noD and head back to work

“ okay everybody grab hold her and start researching.” Ashley said looking at everybody

everybody is scared of here for a second

“ like now.” Ashley said

after Ashley said that everybody grab a folder and started working. I couldn't find anything else about her, although I did find out that she had an abusive father and her mother died when she was six,I told everybody about that and we were down to five profiles.

- with the team in an empty office-

“ okay so we're down to five profiles and you guys to go through every inch of these profiles okay we need to find this little girl.” Brick said

“So how do we know what to look for in these profiles?” Daniel said

“ well we know she's about 13 years of age, she was kidnapped when she was 7 years old, she had an abusive father, her mother died when she was 6, she lives around this area and she was kidnapped about 6 years ago, oh yeah and I also found out that she went to Brook hill starting school.”

“ do you might think that her father could have took her?” said Kevin curiously

“ well yes he could have but a case where there was already one girl that said that there was another girl with her when she was taken by one man,so we can assume that the man who took Abby took Lacey to.”I said looking at him with no expression on my face

“ good.” he said looking at me

Actually came running through a door

“ sir I just got a phone call from Abby's mom, she said a girl about the age of 13 just showed up at our door with cut bruises all over her.” Ashley said trying to catch her breath

“ Well what are we waiting for let's go.” I said grabbing my stuff rushing out the door

“ Well looks like we're going.” Finn said chuckling a little bit.

When we got to the Smith house we saw a girl sitting on the couch with a blanket wrapped around her, she was drinking some hot cocoa, when I got up close to her I saw her face and when I saw her face I was little bit scared because she looked exactly like my mom when she was little girl... I just stared at her for a little bit and then I asked………..
