Abby Smith

-The next day-

I woke up and I couldn't stop thinking about the fiasco last night, on my way to work i was driving down my street I saw a girl and she just looked at me with scared eyes. I pull my car over and grabbed my gun and badge and got out of the car and went over to the little girl.

“Hi whys your parents.”I said with a warm smile

Then she mouthed Help please.

“Where's your parents.” I said looking concerned

“I don't know?...this man took me from them.” the little said with a tear running down her face

“How old are dear?” I said with a calming voice

“I’m seven.” she said

“Okay what's your name?” I said looking around

“I’m Abby Smith…..please you have to help me he's hurting my sister please.” abby said freaking out with tears running down her face

Then I remembered what brick said yesterday at the office ….

-flash back to yesterday morning-

“Okay if any of you see this little girl please call us okay.” brick said

But I was running late as usual and only heard the name

“Her names Abby Smith okay everyone get back to work.” He said looking at you

You're late again

Sorry I was all night working on the Rush brothers case.” I said looking at him with a tired face

“Its okay just try to be on time tomorrow okay”

“Yes sir.” I said walking way

-Back to the present-

Then i looked up and there was a man there.

“Can i help you?” he said with a warm smile

“Is this your daughter.” i asked looking at him with a straight face

“Yes she is.” he said with a smile still on his face

“Nooooooo he's no my dad!” Abby screamed and was about to cry

“She says you're not her father.” i said look at her

Hes smile fades

“Well i am and you can get you butt of my property.”

I just stood there looking at the little girl she mouthed please help he’ll kill me if you leave ...then she paused then mouthed my sister needs help please

“HEY LOOK AT ME LADY GET…..OFF…..MY ….PROPERTY NOWWWW.” He said shouting at me I did move then he pulled out a knife I saw and pulled out my gun

“Put the knife down! or I will shoot you.” i said pointing my gun at him

He puts the knife down

“Hey look lady I wasn't going to hurt you.” he said with a shakiness in his voice

A lady walks by and just stares at me

“Hey stop pointing that gun at him now.” she said walking over to me

I pull out my badge and show her it.

“What's your name?”

“I’m Alex” she said

“Well Alex I need you to take out my phone and call Brick Goodman okay.” I said still pouting my gun at him

“Okay.” she said

She grabbed my phone and called him

“Hello?” said Brick

“Hey Brick it's Gabby I found Abby Smith and will hunter, I need you to come here right now.” I said not with a single worry in my head

“Where's here?” he asked confused

“Umm forest line avenue okay.” I said

He hung up

“Who was that?” said the man scared

“Oh that that was my boss, and he's bringing a hole swat team. So if you don't tell me where Abby’s sister is then we will find her, and when we do, and trust me we will find her,oh buddy you'll be in jail your whole life.” I said while smiling

-five minutes later-

Brick and the team show up

“Hi Gabby."said Finn

“Hey Finn."I said smiling

“How did you know he was here?” he said confused

“I saw her just sitting there all alone then she looked a little scared so I stopped.” i said looking at him

“Of course you did.” he said chuckling a little

-Gabby's pov-

I now Finn has a crush on me because one day about a year ago he asked me to dinner, and I said yes but we just never had time to date because our work is our life so it’s boyfriend or work.

So yeah.

-back to the your world's pov-

They arrested Will Hunter and took Abby to the station and as for her sister we asked her what her name is and she said lacey, but she didn't know her last name Abby's parents came and picked her up they were so happy. It felt like time just slowed down every thing was in slow motion Abby's parents were crying very one was hugging, but I was just at my desk working. Then someone came over to me, it was Abby's parents

“Thank you so much thank you thank you thank you.” said miss smith crying on her knees bowing to me I help her up.

“Your Welcome.” I said with a warm smile

I don't usually do happy that's why I always sit at my desk when the parent come to pick up their kids.

Then they both hug me I was surprised and just stood there will everyone was just laughing and chuckling in the background. They let go.

Is Abby your only child i asked

Yes Abby is our only child why do you ask she said looking confused at my words

Because when I found Abby she said she had a sitter there and that she needed help I said

I'm sorry but Abby's our only child

Okay thanks

Then they left and everyone just looked at and busted into laughter

That was not funny okay you guys know how i don't do hugs okay I said looking at them

Then they all looked at each other,and stated And started coming closer then they all said

“Aww we know you want to hug us.” and then they all gave me a group hug.

I was just standing in the middle of them looking confused as ever but I love them and I gave them all a hug back I mean they're my family girl I have a few hours later I got a call from my mom saying my dad was in the hospital and that is heart cancer I went up to Brick and sad that I have to go to the hospital and I won't be back till tomorrow afternoon

why are you leaving so early Brick said confused

My mom just called me and told me my dad has cancer I said trying not to cry the last time I cried was at my grandparent's funeral that was what I was 16 I haven't cried since because when my grandparents to hide I couldn't stop crying and I cried for 3 weeks straight.

but I've decided that if I ever cried again I wouldn't be able to stop. when I got out to my car I close the door and started driving to the hospital, as badly as I didn't want to cry I did, I cried the whole way there, when I got to the hospital I ran up to the room for my dad was and he was just lying there, everything felt like as if time it's just stop everything was in slow motion, as much as I didn't want to believe it my dad was in a coma. I don't know how he Got into a coma I mean Cancer doesn't put people in comas right, but I guess i am.

Cancer can do anything it wants to people right,I mean cancer kills people, hurts people, and most of all it hurts the people who loves the person who has cancer. When I saw my dad lying in my bed I fell to my knees and started bawling my eyes out I feel like I was never going to stop crying again, then I felt too large arms wrap around me I looked into it was it was Bailey my best friend, I turn around and start hugging him back

I whispered to him

“I love you.”

“I love you too.” he said crying
