They wish they could say that everything went well and all was settled. Yet, as all storied went, as all packs knew, the bad came along with the good. After a fun night, no dramas, everyone started to head on to their respectful homes. Maximus went to his room with Stacey, holding her tightly in his arms as they slept on his bed, nothing s****l about it, but trust and love of two wolves. Nathanial walked Penny back to the pack house, wishing her goodnight at her bedroom door. Kinley went home, finding his mother asleep along side Chika in his sisters small bed, curled up together. He placed a blanket over them and then headed to his own room. Sebastian, of course returned to the hospital, getting the report of the night from Dr Shelt and spent the night in the room with Adira.
All was well, until the Beta house was awoken with a mind link from their Alpha, requesting for some warriors to head over to Half Moon and help. It was a call for help. They were under attack and it seemed it was dark rogue wolves with the red eyes and dangerous killing skills. Without delay, Maximus, Stacey, Nathanial and Beta Luke were up and out the door in seconds. Leaving Maximus’ mother home to head out and help their own pack. Being boarder line with Half Moom, they still needed to be prepared for anything that came their way.
They were informed that the attack was happening on the far Eastern boarders of Half Moon, which was strange for Maximus, considering the Eastern Boarders were along a mountain side. However, he could not think too much into the specks of things, because they needed to get there as soon as they could, to help out and push the rouges back.
In wolf form, much faster then running in human form, they made it from their own pack, to the East of Half Moon within thirty minutes. It was not easy and they pushed it, but they made it. Maximus noticed the scent of wolves from Red Moon and Half Moon, and yet the foul smell of the rouges were present as well. There were at least one hundred rouges and with Half Moon and Red Moon combining forces, they added up to two hundred. While both were large packs, their plans never involved using all the warriors at one time. They had to be careful and have a second line of control, to defend their packs. Maximus just hoped that their two hundred could defeat the one hundred red eyes rouges.
There was snarling, growling and battles going on all around the place. At a quick glance Maximus could see a number of wolves injured on the ground. He did not know how bad their conditions were, but they would have to wait and see at the end of the battle to know the extent of the damage to their warriors. Trying to not think about it any more, Maximus rushed forward, swiping his claws at a rouge that was trying to sneak past the main battle ground and slip through into the Half Moon packs main lands. He was not going to allow it and catching the wolf by surprise, Maximus was able to cut it off, a deep gasp forming across it’s face from his claws.
The rouge growled at him and he growled back, stronger, meaner and more inflicting that the rouge flinched. In it’s weakness, Maximus striked again, jumping at the rouge, landing on it’s back and rolling it over, pinning the filthy thing down onto the ground. He dug his claws into it’s cheast and though the rouge was using it’s back legs to try and kick him off, Maximus was clearly stronger and better. He did not waste time, he opened his jaws, revealing sharp fangs and instantly gripped the rouges throat between his jaws, chomped down and pulled, ripping the creatures throat out. The life of the rouge left it instantly and Maximus did not pause.
He looked around, pin pointing his next target. The wolf was also trying to get past the main fight, yet looked bigger, uglier then the one he had just defeated. He knew this was not going to be an easy take down, but he would give it his all. The new rouge got the first hit, seeing Maximus coming, it evaded his attack and then with uncommon speed rushed back at Maximus, locking his jaws around his front left leg. It hurt, but with a quick move, Maximus ecasped before the rouges jaw could lock down. He was not impressed, anger grew in him, feeling the slight tingle of the bite as he moved. He growled and attacked, going for the throat again. He missed, the rouge moving out of the way, but not far enough that Maximus was able to swipe in return and catch the rouge to the side of the head. The tip of it’s ear flew away with the movement, and Maximus was happy, to have caused some paid, some damage to the wolf.
There was not telling time, to how long Maximus was locked in this battle. He had the bite on his leg, along with a few claw marks along his back and chest. Yet in the end, finding the rouges weakness, Maximus was finally able to subdued the wolf, killing it alike the other one, not letting it pass any further into the Half Moon lands. He moved on, feeling pain, but biting it down, wanting to keep fighting. He could see it was a hard battle, everyone was engaged in fights and the rouges with the brighter red eyes were indeed harder to fight then the less red eyed wolves. Maximus knew there were in works for Lord Alexander, but how he was doing it, Maximus was not too sure. Either way, they would not let that evil vampire win.
A quick glances around and he could see Stacey in a firce battle with a rouge, he could see blood dripping from her left side, but it did not seem to be impacting her in the fight. Nathanial was fighting two rouges at one. He could seen see his father engaged with three rogues. The bastards were teaming up on them, and it was not a good thing when they teamed up. They were hard enough on their own. Maixmus moved quickly, going to his father’s aid. While Nathanial had two rouges, it was better then three and so Maximus knew he would help his father and then he would help his friend.
Not far, he could sense Alpha Gabriel and Sebastain taking one a number of rouges as well, doing the best that any of them could do to fight and protect those around them. Even the Half Moon warriors and their Alpha were deep in fighting back the rouges. It was tough and the battle went on for a very long time. Nobody give up, nobody shifting ground. You would say that was a good thing, because it meant the rouges could not pass further into the lands, but it also meant they had not yet pushed them back either.

Alpha Gabriel was not very pleased at all. He was furious and he ripped through those rouge, making sure not one of them got any further into the lands of Half Moon. They fought, no regard to the time, just kept on fighting. He could tell his warriors were injured and hurting, needing a rest, but he knew if they rested now, the rouges would over power them. While the numbers of rouges were shrinking, it was not time to think they had won the fight yet. He knew they were all giving it their best, but anything could happen, anything could change.
In the air, a loud ear splitting howl reached their battle, a howl that was like a calling, but also a warning. Everything stopped for a moment, as the rouges seems to freeze, which caused a few of them to be killed in the process. The rest, seemed to howl back and then turn, retreating. Stunned, the Half Moon and red Moon worries watched for a moment as the rouges ran away, climbing up the mountain range like they were rock climbing goats. Until they reached the top and went over. It took them only a couple of minutes and then they were out of sight.
Yes, he was stunning, but Alpha Gabriel had to focus on something new now. Red Moon pack. The horrible howl had come from there and hew knew that was not a good sign. Mind linking his pack, he called half of them back, to follow him and right at his side, no surprise to him, was Sebastian, running back in wolf form towards the board. He could not blame his son. Even if they were so far away, it was clear to the sense of what the howl was for and where it had come from. It was a rouge warning the others it found what it was looking for. That was why they had all suddenly turned and retreated, the last twenty of the wolves.
He had been worried about this, leaving his pack to help Half Moon, but it was what one did when you were boarder packs, when you were friends, allies and had a treaty. He knew he had left most of his warriors at Red Moon, but he hoped his pack were not in too much danger. He feared that the attack on Half Moon was just a diversion and what ever they really were up to, involved a special somebody residing in his own pack. They had assumed it was the reason for all the recent attacks and it would seem today, they may get a closer answer.
Arriving at Red Moon, they could hear the snarls and howls of wolves fighting, in the training grounds. That was not a good thing. He, in wolf form, glances sideways to his son, who looked back. They nodded and split. Sebastian headed in the direction of the Hospital, the wolves of Maximus, Nathanial, Stacey and Kinley following him. On the other hand, Alpha Gabriel continued to the training around, ordering his warriors to follow, but requesting for Beta Luke to check on the pack hide out, to make sure the woman and children were still safe. He agreed, taking ten of the warriors with him.
When Alpha Gabriel arrived at the training ground he saw three rouges still present, a number of others dead on the ground. Delta Danial was there, leading the warriors to attack the rouges, yet one look at his Delta, Alpha Gabriel knew he was injured and that it may not have been so simple. He had a large gash on his rear leg, clearly from a large bite from one of the rouges. It was bleeding and he could see how it was impacting his Delta.
“Daniel, go to Dr Shelt now! I will deal with this!” Alpha Gabriel ordered.
“Keep the brown one. He made the calling howl.” Delta Daniel warned.
He understood and with a quick nod, he ordered for two of his warriors to escort his Delta to the hospital and in turn, he turned to the rest, ordering for no Rouge to be left to escape, they were all to be captured and taken to the prison cells. He had his eye on the brown rouge, with deathly red eyes and a mouth full of drool. It was disgusting and it smelt bad, but Alpha Gabriel was not worried about the deranged wolf. He had dealt with worse beasts before. He left no room for discussion. Within seconds of his quick mind link with his Delta, Alpha Gabriel was making a move.
He pounced at the rouge, taking him down, tearing at the back of his neck. He knew this would instantly disable the wolf and with a painful whimper, he could tell it worked. The other rouges either went to run away or attack back, but none of them had the chance. All of his warriors advanced on them and all were subdued within seconds, taken down. With force they were all taken to the cells, locked away. Alpha Gabriel stayed, watching the brown rouge he had taken down.
“Why did you come here?” he asked, cold and furious.
“You already know the reason Alpha.” the rouge cackled back. “We now have our answer.”
“You have been looking for something.” Alpha Gabriel stated, pushing his words.
“You know what, stop playing dumb.” the wolf hissed. “We have the answer we needed, somebody is already on the way back to report. He will come again for her, you can not keep her hidden any longer.”
Alpha Gabriel gave a threatening growl and turned away, looking at the guards that were standing by the cell. He gave the order, to kill the rouge, behead him, burn him and bury his body in a place nobody would ever dig up again. They gave a firm nod and did not dispute the matter at all.
Leaving the cells, Alpha Gabriel went straight to the pack hospital, to check on the situation there. He had to check in and see who was injured and most of all, to check how his Delta was doing. There was a lot of movement going around, a lot of noise. Taking in a deep breath, he knew where to go. Knocking on the door, it was quickly opened by Dr Shelt, stepping aside and letting the Alpha into the room.
“Status update.” Alpha Gabriel asked straight away.
“Mostly small bite injuries and scratches. Nobody critical.” Dr Shelt stated. “Delt Daniel came to our aid when the brown wolf came here. Chased him off. He was bitten pretty bad on the thigh. It will heal, but it will take time. These wolves with red eyes have vampire in their blood, but not toxic enough to kill us with their bites.”
“Well, that is good news.” Alpha Gabriel said in thought.
“Sebastian is in the room.” Dr Shelt informed.
“Thank you.” he replied, nodding and understanding.
Dr Shelt nodded and left the room. Alpha Gabriel looked around. Delta Daniel was resting on the bed silently, eyes closed, tucked in, a slight frown on his face. His wife, Trix, was at his side, sitting in a chair silently, looking down at the ground. Kinley was also in the room, sitting on a chair, browsing through his phone. Alpha Gabriel let out a small sigh. He understood there was not always the best moments between the family, and knew it would be hard for them there, but he was glad they were, to support their family, to support his Delta.
Letting out a small sigh, he grabbed the third seat that was in the room, knowing Chika would be with one of the pack nanny’s being watched over during this time. He greeted Trix and Kniely, asked how they were doing, talking a little about what he knew what happened. It would indeed seem that the attack on Half Moon was part of the plan, but so was the attempt for some of the rouges to access Red Moon again. Once more, he knew they would need to set up more boundary patrols, he knew they could not trust all would be well and smooth from here.
