KILLIAN’S POV. The office was finally quiet as night fell. For the first time all day, there were no urgent reports waiting on my desk. No warriors asking for orders. No elders demanding my attention. Still, somewhere in the back of my mind, the image of those traps hidden beneath the leaves refused to disappear. Someone had placed them there.
