MEADOW'S POV. I rarely slept through the night because of an unusual headache. It didn't get better this morning either; it got worse. By the time I stepped out of the bathroom, my head felt like someone had taken a hammer to it. I winced and pressed my fingers against my temple. The hot shower had helped a little, but not enough. The pounding ache was still there. "What is wrong with me?" I muttered. Penny groaned. "If I knew..." I walked toward the dresser and pulled on a fresh shirt. "This doesn't feel normal." "No kidding." Penny sounded just as miserable. "I feel it too." That made me pause. "You do?" "Unfortunately." I frowned. That was strange. Usually, if something affected me physically, Penny wasn't bothered by it. Except for the pain I get with the mate bond.
