POV David Being home was a breath of fresh air, I no longer felt lonely, this was where I wanted to be. Carmen was overjoyed when we announced that Lauren and I were married and even more so when we brought Misty back with us after our honeymoon. The Donavans were beyond lovely folks but having an infant full time was quite difficult for them, something they confessed to me but not Lauren. They adored Lauren, and I could see why. She loved that baby so very much. Lauren took to redecorating the house and putting together a nursery for Misty. She wanted the house to feel like a home, and she was succeeding.
