### **Chapter 6: Love Trap**
**Priya**’s family home in Mumbai’s crowded lanes seemed safe—a two-story flat with iron gates and nosy neighbors. **Arjun** and **Priya** slipped in after the bridge fight, bruises hidden under long sleeves. Her mom served hot parathas, oblivious. "**Rest here tonight**," Priya urged, leading him to a spare room. "**Khan** won’t find us**."
**Arjun** sank onto the cot, exhaustion hitting. "**Priya**, you’re incredible—kicking thugs, holding ladders**. Never met anyone like you." She sat close, tracing his bandage. "**You’re my strength**. Through this madness." Their **kiss** deepened—slow, hungry, hands exploring. Rain pattered windows. "**Marry me** when shadows lift?" he murmured. "**Yes**," she laughed softly, "**forever**." Love wrapped them like armor.
Glass **shattered** downstairs. "**Hoods**!" Ravi’s yell from the alley lookout. Chaos exploded—door splintered, four **Khan** thugs stormed in, pistols gleaming. Priya’s mom screamed. **Arjun** grabbed a chair, smashing one thug’s arm—**crack**. **Priya** was lightning: kitchen **frying pan** swung hard, caving a skull. "**Run**!" she yelled to her mom.
Stairs became battlefield. **Arjun** tackled a gunman, wrestling for control—bullet grazed his thigh. **Priya** kneed another’s face, blood spraying. Ravi burst through back window, pipe swinging—**thud** on the last thug’s head. But more sirens outside? No—**Khan**’s cars boxing them in.
**Window leap**: second floor drop to alley trash. **Arjun** went first, catching **Priya**. Her mom safe with neighbors. Barefoot run through monsoon muck, rickshaws splashing past. **Hoods** fired—bullets chipped brick walls. "**This way**!" Ravi led to his **hidden boat** at Sassoon Dock, engine coughing alive. They sped into black harbor waters, Mumbai skyline shrinking.
Bobbing waves, **Priya** bandaged **Arjun**’s new thigh wound, tears mixing rain. "**Almost lost you**." He cupped her face. "**Never. You’re my fire**." **Kiss** salty with sea spray—love forged harder in crucible. Ravi steered, lighting a beedi. "**Khan** was my old shipping boss. Greedy snake even then. Stole my routes, now bridges. We hit back smart**."
Plan formed over smuggled chai: **fake meet** at abandoned godown. "**Priya** as bait**," Ravi said. She straightened. "**Perfect. Draw Broker out. Arjun strikes**." **Arjun** hated it—heart twisting—but nodded. "**Together**."
Dawn painted waves gold. **Priya** leaned on **Arjun**, head on shoulder. "**Our wedding**—beach, simple, family**. After." He smiled despite pain. "**Promise**." But Ravi’s face darkened. "**Khan** knows we have his maps. Expects raid. Trap within trap**."
Boat rocked gentle. Love bloomed amid terror, roots sinking deep. **Khan**’s web circled tighter—**new bridge opening** tomorrow meant endgame. **Priya**’s hand in his, **Arjun** felt ready. Shadows hunted, but light fought back.
