Chapter 23: The Abduction

Scott McBaran’s POV

I was running around to see that the ballroom was emptying the crowd. I was looking for my lover when I saw that Noah was talking to someone before he turned to look at me and waved. We approached him before he was looking at the guys that were behind me.

“Edmond Lattone and Lucas Dow. As I live and breathe,” he said as he was shaking hands with his investors. They were smiling before Noah turned to look at Conall and then he saw something that was stopping him a minute.

“Noah, are you okay man?” I asked him before he blinked and he was looking at Conall and me before he smiled.

“Yes. I just thought that I saw someone that I was familiar with,” he said before he was looking at Conall.

“And you must be the duke that they all talk about. I am Noah Vork, Your Grace,”
