Alone

Kalyani could not believe her eyes, her father was standing in front of her, the man who abandoned her was standing in front of her with a smile on his face and chocolates in his hand. When Madhuri saw Atul standing there she could not control herself from screaming, "You, what are you doing here? We have suffered enough because of you and now you have come with chocolates." Atul looked at Madhuri with anger and replied " What happened was not my fault and you know that, anyway I have come for my daughter, not you." Kalyani was furious after hearing her father's words, she said" Me, you daughter whom you abandoned, now you remember her. I am not your daughter, I am just my mother's daughter." Atul was shocked by his daughter's outburst but he knew he had to make peace with her, he had a very big reason to come here. Atul calmly said to Madhuri "Kalyani is still 17 she is a minor, I can file for her custody. Send Kalyani with me without any resistance, I am her father I would never do anything to harm her." Madhuri could not control her anger anymore and started hitting and pushing Atul and told him to leave them alone. Atul was not scared of Madhuri, he too fought back. While arguing both of them didn't realize that they were on the road outside the house. 

Atul and Madhuri were too busy arguing that they did not see the truck coming towards them but Kalyani did. Right in front of her eye, Kalyani's parents were crushed under the truck. Kalyani screamed and screamed for help. Kalyani was numb, she did not know when she sat in the ambulance or when she reached the hospital. She came out of her trance when the nurse called her out. 

"I am very sorry to tell you but we could not save your parents." This sentence broke Kalyani. Kayani suddenly had flashbacks of all her time spent with her mother, all the happy moments, all their fights, and all the moments they cried together. Kalyani had lost her mother, her will to live. she burst out crying and eventually passed out in the hospital.

Kalyaniyani had no idea that when she would wake up, her actual nightmare would begin.
