"Tara." I open my eyes to see Brian standing next to the bed, smiling sweetly.
"Hm?"
"I know it's kind of early, but you have people who want to see you."
"Who's trying to see me?" He looks towards the door and motions for whoever it is to come in. I turn my head and immediately, a smile spreads across my face. There's Julie, Drew, V, Kalil, Scott and Erica, all carrying either a bouquet of flowers, or a bunch of balloons.
"You guys," I say, accidentally starting to cry. What can I say, I'm touched. I can see Julie starting to cry with me and they all huddle around me for a group hug. Including Brian.
"We love you, Tara," Julie chirps, getting a nod out of everyone.
"Me too," Brian says.
"Me three," Kalil says. Oh God, here we go.
"Me four," Scott screeches.
