CHAPTER SIX I took out a bottle of soda from the freezer. I stared down at my flash and phone on the counter as I chugged down almost half of the bottle. It still felt surreal. I picked up the phone and checked the message again for the umpteenth time since I left the interview grounds. If this was a dream then whoever makes the mistake to wake me would be dead before they can even get the chance to say sorry. My eyes shifted to the flash on the counter.
