chapter 3

"I know right, like what are the odds that we'd be at the same almost like fate." He laughs while sitting down in the seat beside me. when he said that those words my heart skipped a beat as my body heated, I felt like a high school girl fawning over a very sexy pop idol.

"Dude why do you always have to make it weird." I joke trying not to linger on the subject as much as I loved the sound of it, I wanted it to be true that we were meant to be. Sometimes I dream about what it would be like with him, the feel of his large hands touching my bare skin, the taste of his lips on me. I like mine just thinking about it, why did this boy have to be so desireable, he really made it hard for me to hold back.

"I do not... do I?" He questions himself making me laugh but we soon stop as orientation began as a teacher walked on stage calling silence, we turn our phones off to give our full attention to hear the teacher greet us to a new year of school, a fresh start which sounds nice it's what I needed. It's a new start at a new school without mother and father getting in the way, I could hang with Aiden all I wanted without dad bearing down my neck telling me how much of a delinquent he is all the time, I could breath for once though I'd just have to deal with my roommate.

It went on for two hours which was longer then what I thought it would but it ended with the year 12 representative speech welcoming us to the school with that we left the hall chatting once more. It was good talking to him knowing we would hare some classes together hopefully and not being split up like our parents wanted us to be. I felt so lucky that it was almost hard to believe it was true. we spent about another two hours outside the hall talking about random stuff as we had found out that dinner wasn't till 6 o'clock.

"Hey so what building are you in." I ask him. As we head to the cafeteria for some dinner, I do hope the food here tastes good at least or that'll be one thing I'll miss about home, mum's home cooked meals oh my mother was an excellent cook.

"Oh I'm un the second building, room 65, since where on the subject what about you." It's a shame we aren't in the same building, oh it would have been extremally cool if we had been put into the same room, though I was just happy I got to spend time with him at school at least.

"First building room 27. We also have ten omegas apparently in the building, one being mt dorm head, he's a little cold to be honest but pretty none the less so that makes up for it." I state.

"Oh is that so, now what would your girlfriend say to that if she ever found out you were checking out other omegas." He raised a checky eyebrow at me which I laugh too as it was a funny thought as that woman would have found herself a new boy toy already by now. It honestly didn't bother as I said before we both didn't love each other so I didn't care if she did or if I looked at others. Though I'd prefer to look at Aiden all day over that dorm head.

"What she doesn't know wont hurt her and 1. He's not really my type I just said he was pretty and 2. She will be doing the same exact thing without a doubt about it." I pull my phone out to show him that I had no messages or calls from her at all though to be fair I haven't tried to call or message her either.

"That's cold man." he states plainly.

"Who? Me or her?" I question him as I look towards him as we near our destination that is the cafeteria. I didn't always come off as cold. I normally only like that too people who I really didn't get along with.

"Both guess that's why you two are together then." His words hurt a little to think he thought I had no ability to love someone but it's only cause I couldn't find it in myself to love anyone else but him and I couldn't let him find out that I had feelings for him cause if he ever did he may find it disgusting and then our relationship would be ruined.

"Also you should come by my room sometime and meet my roommate, I reckon you'll get along with him really well, his names Franklin and he's a alpha panther." He beams, I laugh to myself, how is he a alpha he sure doesn't act like one sometimes it funny.

"What cause we're both big cats aye." It was my turn to raise an eyebrow at him, I can't believe the crap that comes out of his mouth sometimes but I knew he meant well, he always dose it's one of the reason I like him so much. He was too nice for his own good that one day someone horrible will lay their eyes on him.

"Ah n-no." he laugh sorta nervously. "That's not why or what I meant, it's cause you too have somewhat the same energy, the same interests that's all." He explains. It would be cool to have another friend at this school as the only person I know was Aiden plus he reckons we have the same interests that it'll actually be quite nice.

"Really cause normally out in the wild if a cheetah and a panther meet they would more than likely try and kill each other." I say matter of factly like I actually knew what I was talking about which I pretty sure I'm not completely wrong.

"Hey you're not a actual wild cheetah man so that wouldn't happen and would they really do that if they meet out in the wild." He obviously didn't believe me which I'm not surprised as he knew I liked to talk a lot of s**t.

"Guess your right, I more meant that panthers and cheetahs naturally don't like each other though out in the wild they would never meet as they live completely different lives and places and yes would if there was ever a slight chance that they did meet." Again acting like I knew my s**t and he knew how to read me with how long we've been mates for but he lets it slid since it wasn't a big deal anyway.

"Whatever you say man, come by sometime okay." He pats me on the back as we collect some food, taking it to a table to eat our meals, the food wasn't too bad but my mum's cooking was definitely better by far. We quickly finished our meals before heading off to our rooms which I dreaded as I didn't want to see that alpha deer.

"See you tomorrow in class if I don't catch you at breakfast time." He calls out as we had already started walking away from each other to head to our own buildings, I still wish we could have been at least the same building, that would have made things so much more awesome.

"Yeah sure thing, see you tomorrow." I call back walking backwards as I watch him walk away, he was doing the same thing, it made us both laugh.

I got back to my room glad to see that the alpha wasn't to be seen so I grab some night time attire then I headed down to the showers as I knew I wouldn't be bothered getting up earlier to have a shower that early in the morning. I also made sure to take another pill while he wasn't here to see cause he would probably question or tease me for it.

As I got into the hot shower letting the water run down my body as the day played back in my head making me let out a sigh, it was an exhausting day as on one hand I was extremely glad that Aiden had showed up at this school though on the other hand I was roomed with a s-class alpha who reckons he can smell an omega scent off me which annoys me.

With these thoughts I head back to the room, I should ring my girlfriend to look like a good boyfriend, once I got there I lay down on my bed as I dial her number. It took a few rings before Pamela picked up and instantly I could hear a unknown voice in the background, I should be worried and concerned about said voice, I had an idea what could be happening but I wasn't one to jump to conclusions so I kept quite for now.

"Hey babe how are you, I didn't think you'd call so soon, your as sweet as ever." I could tell by her voice she was trying to sweet talk me, she was definitely up to something which adds to my suspicions, I wonder what it could be but I think i know it was becoming more obvious.

"Hey sweetie, of course I'm gonna call my girlfriend why wouldn't I, I'm good thanks just a bit tired to be honest it's been one hell of a day. how about you, how was your day, did you miss me?" Just then the deer walks into our room, my eyes quickly narrows at him.

"You on the phone with your girlfriend." He asks while smiling and raising his eyebrow suggestively way which annoyed me.

"Yes so shut it." I growl at him which he just smirks, I'm hopeing he'll stay quite for as it would be the most respective thing to do, though I don't know him too well so anything could happen. He chucks his phone onto his bed.

"Hey, whose that?" I could tell she was ready to accuse me of cheating by hearing the tone of her voice but I knew I wasn't well not yet anyway but that's not the point. I'm not the one cheating.

"Oh him that's my roommate, no body for you to worry about." I reassure her and just then my suspicions were confirmed by a voice in the background from her phone.

"Hey pam who are you talking too, come back and join us, it's lonely with just the two of us up here." That was quickly followed by a harsh 'shh'. "If you say so I trust you." She tries to cover it up but I heard everything.

I was about to respond harshly as not only was she cheating on me but with two other men only after one day apart but suddenly there was an alpha on my lap who was quick to start running his hands up my sides under my shirt which made a startled cry come from my lips.

"What was that!" She demands with an accusing tone, she really wants to accuse me of cheating obviously because she doesn't want to be the bad guy in this relationship, especially since she actually the one f**k'in cheating.

"Nothing." I say to her before covering the phone mic. "Get off I'm on the phone." I whisper yell at him, a death glare on my face, I can't believe this guy right now as he ignores me as he begins touching my chest which feels unusual.

"Are you cheating on me!" She growls through the phone and that just makes me mad, how dare she accuse me of something that I'm not even doing but it's exactly what she was doing, I swear I could see red with how angry and annoyed I was an this point.

"Says you! your the one who's got guys waiting in bed for you, this is different." I growl back, what the f**k is this situation I'm in right now, this b***h brings two men home yet has the nerve to get mad at me cause I'm getting harassed by my roommate.

"How's it any different, you clearly have some guy sucking your d**k right now, you know what. I'm done, don't come near me ever again, I don't some playboy in my life." Oh wow, she breaking up with me, no that's not how this works, I'm the one breaking up with her.

"Don't need to tell me twice you slut! and I'm not the player here it's you so you can stay the hell out of my life. Bye bitch." I hang up on her and slam my phone on the bedside table, I instantly shove the guy on top of me as he falls back, I was incredibly mad right now but he just thinks this is funny as I could see he was laughing to himself like my life was some sort of joke that was hilarious.

"Well that got extreme don't you think." He shrugs his shoulders making me growl at his words, he doesn't get a say in what happens in my life, he had no right to interfere with that phone call.

"This is your fault." I go to punch him but it doesn't land as he grabs my wrist stopping the blow easily, I grit my teeth in displeasure that I wasn't able to hit the fucker, his grip was tight.

"Violence is bad plus it seems I've saved you from a toxic relationship, she was being unfaithful, you said it yourself or did you want that cause that's not good for your mental health." I hated to admit it but he was right making me very frustrated as I growl once again.

"Now..." He pulls me closer, our faces inches apart, this had surprised me. "Your cute when your mad and this..." He licks my lip piercing, I shove him away while pulling back as it made me worried that he was trying to kiss me, his eyes darkened. "That look turns me along with this." He pulls me back in again this time actually kissing me, his tongue trying to entre my mouth but I kept my mouth firmly shut, I had to do something before this got out of hand.

He doesn't give me a chance to do anything as he stops anyway, a satisfied look on his face. "Is you girlfriend an omega." The question took me by surprise and took me a bit to register what he asked me.

"What!? she's not my girlfriend anymore cause of you remember." I had managed to calm myself down the surprise attack. I definitely not in a good mood now as today just gets worse by the minute.

"I bet she was, did you f**k her this morning, that may be why you have an omega scent on you. She must be a freak in the sheets I'd say for you to still be smelling like her." I was about to disagree but then I thought about it, this is my escape goat, my reason for the omega smell he reckons he can smell.

"Yeah she was, I was luckily enough to score myself a s-class omega like her but you ruined that for me, do you know how hard it is for a plain alpha like me to get an omega like her. It's not easy I'll tell you that not that you would know." I complain even though it wasn't even a big deal that we split, it was still very hard for an alpha with no special class to obtain a relationship with a s-class omega. It's especially hard to find a s s-class alpha or omega they were highly rear but they were out there.

"Yeah I did didn't I but she was a w***e who was sleeping with multiple men and that's not a healthy relationship so it was a good thing no need to thank me." He shrugs his shoulders, he gets up, grabs his phone and just leaves like that without a word. It was very unexpected but I was glad he was gone, I'm gonna ask Miles tomorrow if I can change rooms cause I can't stay here with him, I can't have him messing with me every day or he might trigger my heat which would be very bad.

I played on my phone for an hour or so as it helped me go to sleep, I didn't wanna be awake when he got back though thinking about him I realized I was still yet to know his name not that i really wanted to know, with that I fell asleep.

The day began a new as I woke from my slumber, I see that the alpha was still asleep so I quickly got ready after taking my pill, I headed down stairs in hopes to find Miles but he wasn't there so I waited in the lounge. I pull out my phone playing a game till he showed himself, which he did 15 minutes later, I got up and walked over to the small bunny.

"Hey Miles, can I ask you something please." He turns around with a huff making it clear as day that he was obviously annoyed by my presence which just slightly pissed me off as I hadn't even done anything yet. He quickly put on a fake smile though I swear I saw his eyes twitch from annoyance.

"You need something." He says politely as possible but it doesn't help hid his true feelings, he thought he was good at hiding his dislike for someone but I could see right through him, it wasn't that hard at all.

"I wanna change rooms please." Which he just huffs once again, his smile leaving his face, oh here we go. That fake smile of his was getting on my nerves.

"Can you tell me why?" He puts his hands on his hips. "And which room?" You tell that he didn't wanna have to deal with this so early in the morning but it was the duties of the dorm head so he had too with no questions asked. shame.

Even though I had told him yesterday, he didn't remember but I'm guessing its probably because he had multiple people asking him where their rooms are, so it came to no surprise. "I'm in room 27, I don't get along with my roommate, he's harassing me." I state while he just looks at me weirdly.

"Room 27 huh. That's Nathan hick's room, he's a year 12 like me, I actually went to middle school with him he's a nice guy so I know he wouldn't do something like that. Anyway you can't switch rooms unless there was a special reason or there was a error in room selection and they put the wrong genders together like if they put an omega with an alpha. They may leave it if it was a omega in with a beta or a beta in with an alpha it wouldn't be such a problem." He takes a big breath before continuing.

"Nathan is definitely an alpha so we can only shift you to a different room if you turned out to be an omega, so are you an omega?" He questions me while giving me an odd look, I can't believe he dared to ask me such a question, it must just be people at this school or something as I never had this problem before so why now.

With those words I felt hopeless as his words properly processed, I was f****d, I couldn't just say I was an omega even if it was the only way out. f**k!! s**t I have to respond. "No I'm an alpha." I fight the urge to growl out the words, with that I walk away before he could even reply, I can't have him see me like this or he'll suspect something. I head to the cafeteria for breakfast, I still had an hour before homeroom, my first class of the year at a new school. I hadn't even started, yet I was already tired of this school, I rub my face in frustration.

I ate in peace before heading to homeroom, I of course was early so I had heaps of options for seats, I was their for five minutes before Aiden showed, we smiled at each other as he sat beside me. God he looked good in this schools uniform, dark blue pants with one black strip at the bottom, white shirt with a navy jacket with a black strip at the end of the sleeves. A light blue tie as the finishing touch.

I had homeroom and one class with Aiden, I wish we had more but at least I had some classes with him, that was good enough for me. Though my three main classes I had Nathan in them, my roommate whom I wanted to avoid, luckily enough he didn't notice me at all as I stayed at the back while he was close to the front with his friends.

Since classes were over I headed to the nurses office to see my sister in law Katie, Mathew told me to see her for the new pills he managed to get me, I walked in to see her at a desk writing something down. No one else was here thankfully, I knocked on the door to catch her attention, she saw me with a slightly surprised look before getting up with a smile.

"Hey Chase how are you?" She greets me with a huge smile, hardly anything made her mad though my brother always found a way. I don't know if he was doing it on purpose or not, I will never know, mother was the same she didn't know weather or not her son liked pissing his partner off or not. I was surprised they had made it this long but I knew that despite that they loved each other very much which I hope to have one day.

"I'm good thanks Katie, um do you have what my brother gave you." I say kinda shyly as I was nervous, I knew acting like this was so not alpha like but it was only Katie so I wasn't too worried about it, she always thought I was cute anyway. Maybe it was cause she was older than me, she smiled and grabbed my checks pulling them, it hurt a little but not much.

"Awe your so cute!, yes I do, Mathew gose through a lot for you for these. Hard to find these rut suppressants. Must be hard having irregular ruts it's especially uncommon even for your age." She walks back to her desk to grab them from the bottom draw.

So that's what my brother told her, it wasn't true but definitely believable making me smile at the thought, boi was my brother smart or what. "I know, I'm grateful to have a brother like him and yes it's hard, I need these so I don't accidently attack someone." I scratch my check while looking away.

"Here you go, so you know to take these right." She hands me the bottle as she questions me with that nurses tone, getting all serious on me, it made me smile warmly.

"Yes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon." I put the bottle in my pocket hidden away, I didn't want people knowing, who knows what they would imagine.

"Make sure you thank him okay." This made me chuckle as I know there was no need to as I would and already have but still will. We gave each other a hug before saying goodbye, I head to my buildings lounge to just hang out as I didn't dare go to my room just in case he was there and it was too early for dinner, so I just played some games while texting some mates here and there.

I was here for an hour before getting a text from Aiden to meet him at the cafeteria, so I texted him back that I was on my way as I got off the couch and made my way there to meet him. I guess he wanted to eat together which was fine with me, I liked spending time with him, he was waiting outside the building which warmed my heart.

"Hey man, you hungry, I am. My roommate Franklin is already inside waiting." we walk in grabbing some food, he then leads me towards to a table where a tall panther with dark skin, black hair with grey eyes. He wasn't bad looking though he was good to look at but not really my type, he saw us coming and waved us over, he had only just started eating.

"Hey Franklin this is my childhood friend Chase." He introduces me to him. "Chase this is Franklin my roomie." We then sit down with our trays of food. "Where's Miles I asked him to join us too." Aiden asks Franklin. Did he just say Miles?

"Miles?" I butt in to question him, surly he wasn't talking about my dorm head if so I don't wanna eat with him, we clearly hate each other and wouldn't be able to get along so eating together was a big ask.

"Yeah Miles, he's a bunny in my and Franklins main class, he's a really nice guy. You'll like him for sure just don't hit on him, he seems like that type who doesn't take to people who straight up flirt with him and with what you like, you know what I mean." He turns back to Franklin so he could reply to the questions before I interrupted.

"He's actually coming up now." He states. "Hey Miles over here." Franklin calls out to the small bunny, he seemed cheerful though I do feel it was still fake I'm not sure, he sat down greeting the panther then he saw me. I swear his eyes darkened with hatred as he sat beside Franklin.

"Miles this is Chase my childhood friend and Chase this is Miles which as I just said before he's in my main class." Aiden says in a way that was too cheerful.

"We've meet before, I'm the dorm head to the first building, he's also in that very building." Miles says with a smile but still firm that I think I was the only one to pick up on it.
