  Rafferty POV   As I watched Ava storm out of the pack house, her skirts rustling in her haste, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. She was trying so hard to compose herself, to erase the evidence of her embarrassment, but I had already seen it. And I wasn't about to tease her about it, no, I had other plans.   I followed her at a distance, my eyes fixed on her retreating figure, as she made her way back to her room. I could sense her frustration, her confusion, and her embarrassment. She was trying to process what had just happened, to make sense of what happened in the Treyton's chamber.   I retreated back to my chambers.
