Prince Khalil was too busy putting on the prince's face with the maid, searching to know what he wants, the earlier the better, especially as he thought that he might be of some degree of help to her.
Khalil's question had made the maid tremble, and her knuckles to be as white as snow. A glance at her and it is evident that she is scared as mad. The prince always put up his statue to be a high one, making the people around him to be afraid of him. Only his facial expressions to speak more of his authority.
At all times, Prince Khalil had his chiseled cheeks grinding hard against one another, it spoke more of dominion over his people, especially those that were far beneath his authority.
The young maid looked at the floor, avoiding to stare directly at him in the eyes, it wasn't proper to do so, and she feared for her life.
"Well, what do you want?" Khalil asked once more exerting power in his question.
This time, the lady standing in front of him jumped from fright, and the next thing she did was to speak up with making the prince to question her once more.
"Prince Khalil, I am here to inform the ou that dinner is served," she said as simple as the lines could be.
Slowly, Khalil raised a brow silently, looking at him with weird looks, she had something to say but was too frightened to say it.
He didn't want to keep her waiting for too long, besides, she has passed her message clearly, and he wouldn't want her to waste more of her precious time waiting here for nothing again.
The only thing that concerns Khalil right now is how to make Crystal have a meal with him. Deep down in him, he knows that he is going to make a scene about it, she always does, and now, the room she has just recently occupied is as dirty as a pigsty, what if this maid has to see it, she might end up with a negative impression, thinking that things aren't the way she has actually planned it to be like, if that is the case, then he might even want to pass out.
'Who the hell does she think she is? ohh! it hasn't even happened, so get a hold over yourself guy,' Prince Khalil said to himself.
Blinking severally, he noticed that the girl was still there, so he raised a brow trying to sound a bit arrogant in his manner of approach towards the girl.
"Hey! lady, run along now, what are you still doing there?" he questioned rudely, staring at the girl.
The maid at first did not seem to understand what is going on, she didn't even focus on what prince Khalil was saying to her to an extent that she caused the prince to be annoyed.
While Prince Khalil was busily staring at the girl, she on the part was heartily looking at something, with all her attention attached to it. Her actions kind of pissed him off because he didn't expect this degree of insolence from her.
Sighing, he tried to make things better for them, by wanting to ask the simplest question which wouldn't sound rude to her, and as he started, he stopped, trying to understand what is going on.
"Are you alright?" Khalil asked.
The maid pretended like he was possessed and acted like someone who had an evil spirit in her body.
"No! no! no! no! not that," she exploded
The girl's reply was shocking, and he could not stop his gentle contours from being harsh as he snorted at her.
"What the hell are you looking...at?" prince Khalil asked in annoyance.
Instead of her responding to the prince, the maid allowed him to check it out himself. Slowly, Khalil started twirling his head behind, as he wanted to actually know what had caught the maid's attention from the window.
Looking inside, all that Khalil could see is the heap of clothes at the center of the room, and also, he could ee the disorganized room by just perusing the room with his eyes.
Nothing was wrong with the room, in fact, it was perfectly disorganized just as he had left it a while ago, with no harm on it, but immediately as he sensed that something must have been the problem and he went ahead to search what that problem is, it pushed prince Khalil to look at the bed where he had commanded Crystal to sit and wait for him.
The bed was empty, and so was the space surrounding it, but the moment he tilted his head towards the maid, she tried peeping over his shoulders to look at something.
He could barely understand what that was, and the maid's behavior was pissing the hell out of him, and unless he knows the solution to his distress, he wouldn't have rest.
"For god damn sake lady, tell me what you are seriously checking at," he spat his anger rising to his throat.
Prince Khalil always has this dangerous anger that he doesn't want anyone to experience, it might be bloody sometimes, and at other times, it just decides to be plain, as much as possible.
The girl jumped in fright, and before he could say anything, she answered his questions with immediate effect.
"My Prince, I am looking at the lady on the wardrobe," she shot.
My eyes widened immediately as the last words escaped my lips,
"What lady on the ward... robe?" he inquired while tilting his head to meet with the girl on the wardrobe.
His instincts were right, as expected, there was no one standing in the wardrobe other than Crystal.
Prince Khalil kind of panicked a little as had not wished to see that lady in that kind of a dangerous place, especially not in front of the maid. Khalil has a reputation to be safe, and the maid seeing his captive behave in this manner was kind of surprising to his honor.
Once more he tilted his head towards the maid and muttered a small apology for having her as an audience here.
"I have heard your message, Ms. if you don't mind, I would love some privacy now, thank you," prince Khalil pressed on before rushing towards the inside, slamming the door in front of the lady's face.
Khalil's face suddenly hardened as he looked at the lady busily climbing the wardrobe. No one has ever done that in front of him, I mean, absolutely no one. It made his heartbeat to accelerate because the position in which Crystal stood was a dangerous place and the least mistake might make her fall, crushing towards the floor and having several bruises and injuries, he wasn't ready to face that, at least not now.
Clearing his throat, Khalil replaced his smooth tone with a harsh one, he wanted to make his presence known and also inflict fear into her heart.
"You young scoundrel, what the hell are you doing up there? I promise that if you break an arm or a leg, I wouldn't give you any medical support, you will suffer the consequences alone, you are warned, so make your decisions wisely," Khalil said informing Crystal of his evil plans beforehand.
When Crystal stared at him from over her shoulders, she swirled her head face to the wooded house, focusing on aiming high, to put her grip where it will not affect her.
To say that that Crystal's attitude is rude is an understatement, she behaved in an uncouth and disrespectful manner, as if she knew everything and the prince was suddenly too small to talk to her.
"Wow!" prince Khalil remarked.
Crystal totally ignored the lady, and instead of having his time, she kept climbing the stair. Her behavior did not only irritate the prince but caused him to be infuriated.
In anger, Prince Khalil decided to scream her lungs out in anger, especially with this crazy lady he has in this room.
Unless this young man is not prince Khalil because if he is the one, then he is actually going to do something that will make this lady understand that nobody jokes with him so often.
"Oh! sweet heavens, how did I entangle myself with a rascal of a girl? just tell me she isn't climbing the wardrobe__ of course, she is. What am I even thinking you" he inquired in frustration racking his fingers through his fine lock of brushed hair, scattering them a little.
This time, Crystal did not ignore her, she just spoke out her mind as plain as it is, not minding whether it could be rude or wound his pride as a prince.
"Prince Khalil, what about you take a break from here a little? I mean, the fine blonde lady who just left here said dinner is ready right? I thought that by the time you will shot the door closed, you will be on the other side of the room__ that is outside, and not inside, staring at me as if I have stolen something valuable that belongs to you. If you don't mind, I do not want to sound rude, but I would love to ask if I can have some privacy in this room, I mean, when I was at the dungeon, I had the space I required, that is away from your sinful handsome face. If you will allow me to do work, I will be glad, besides, I have a slipper to catch,"
Crystal spat out of her mouth.
This is quite a lot for someone to say, especially a lady like Crystal, a mere captive, and as she tilted her head to continue, prince Khalil's anger boiled in his chest.
He was about to do something stupid and he knew that.
