"A physician, Crystal, that is what you need now, the edges of the glass are pointy on your leg, and unless they remove it, the pain wouldn't cease to affect you," prince Khalil said.
As Khalil said so, Crystal's heart started panicking, she was literally freaking out, and it didn't cause things to be better because she tried pulling her legs away from his grip.
"Oh no! tell me it is not true, please, I don't want a physician, what if he amputates my legs away?" Crystal demanded.
Her question was weird and caused Khalil to explode in a fit of laughter, at first, he bit his lower lip trying to hide the laughter away, but then, now if he doesn't laugh out his lungs out, he might find it a bit difficult for him.
Using the back of his hands I hold his lip, prince Khalil stirred at Crystal as she frowned at him.
"I don't find the fact that you are laughing at me funny, like seriously, you shouldn't do that, what on earth did you do that for laughing at me just because spoke of my favorite leg being cut off? come on, I am the one feeling the pain now not you. If you don't mind, just leave me alone, please," Crystal said.
Unable to control the tears that were already rising in her eyes, Crystal allowed them to flow freely. Seeing this, prince Khalil's heart melted immediately, he didn't want to see her cry, it was like melting his heart so much.
Deep down in Khalil's mind, he doesn't know why he cares, but then, he just finds himself doing it for no reason, and standing from the edge of his bed, he walked towards Crystal, and sat beside her.
At first, he panicked whether he should grab her hand or not, but the, taking his courage in his hands, he advanced slowly, not wanting to scare her away.
"Don't touch me, I don't like what you just did a while ago," she blurted out her grievances to her.
"Come on, Crystal, I am sorry, alright, let me tell you who a physician is, he is a doctor, and will take care of your injuries, and believe me, he is not a surgeon so you are risk free that he is going to cut your legs off, okay?" Khalil inquired raising a brow.
This is kind of weird to hear him say so, but then, he wants to assure Crystal that she can trust the doctor and allow him to treat him, but the manner in which she is so scared now makes him uncomfortable.
"I don't like doctors," Crystal blurted out shivering.
This time, when Khalil brushed his hand around her shoulder, she didn't hesitate to remove his hand from her, instead, she created some space trying her best to allow Khalil to approach her. Deep down in Crystal's mind, she was just doing a simple gesture to allow the prince some space to meet her, but deep down in Khalil's mind, his mind was shooting daggers at him.
Khalil didn't want to frighten her anymore, especially as she is already in a bad mood, so, instead of making matters worse for her, he allowed his heat to heat Crystal up, she needs to know that she Is secured with him, and nothing will happen to her.
Clearing his throat, Khalil braced his hand around her soft hand as he said smoothly above her head.
"I know several people have chills down their spines whenever it has to do with the doctor, but do not worry, doctor Lewis is very friendly, I assure you of that," prince Khalil said.
Crystal didn't say anything, her mind was a little bit paining her, and thinking about stuff like that made her feel weak. She doesn't like such things to happen, and as she creased her forehead, Crystal hid her face in Khalil's shirt.
Khalil was happy to feel Crystal's heat on his chest, which made his heart flutter although he did not have the courage to do her so.
"Crystal, lookup, what about this, I will have Doctor Lewis come in first with his equipment and see what can be done, these glasses need to leave your leg, Crystal, if not they might cut it," prince Khalil said.
Crystal gasped.
Khalil chuckled.
"It is not funny, I don't find it the least funny, please stop," she murmured.
Khalil nodded his head, and parting away from her, he stepped out of the bed. straightening his clothes, he made a step to leave.
"Where are you going to?" he heard Crystal asked.
His heart felt like a heavy load had been placed on it, and it was strange to feel that way, but brushing his mind from his heart, he turned to stir at her.
"To get a doctor," he said.
Crystal knew that she was going I have it hot when the doctor comes in here, she didn't want the doctor to come, it will pain her, but then, her legs hurt even more when it has to do with the cuts she sustained from the glass earlier.
"Must you get a doctor?" Crystal asked feeling nervous.
Khalil stopped for a brief moment, stirring at her. He had the urge to laugh, but his instinct made him smile instead.
"Do not worry, I will make sure that nothing happens to you, okay? I promise," prince Khalil said.
His voice was thick and reassuring, it made Crystal look at him with a little bit of resentment. There are a lot of things he wished he could just say right now, he wanted to talk with her, to tell her that things are going to be alright, but on a second note, he decided to remain calm, Sighing, he walked out of the room.
Crystal's heart was in her mouth right now, it is crazy to see that she is going to have a do for treating him, her mind is literally blown away, and there is nothing she can do about it.
