Crystal stepped out of the bathroom with a towel attached around her waist, she walked towards the vanity to pour the body cream in her palm and rub it on her body delicately.
It made her happy to know that she could actually do bathe some fresh water after a long while. It has been a long time since Crystal has spent time In the bathroom, and by the way, she smelled, she could boldly hit her chest bragging that she has used the time wisely.
The room just like she had left it was still in the same position, scanty, just staring at it gave her a sense of satisfaction to know that she had actually done something like that.
Fully creaming her body, Crystal's stomach rumbled for a little while, indicating that she was hungry.
The last time Crystal had had something to eat was in the morning, and that was breakfast. The warders who took their respective turns in guarding her didn't consider the fact that she could be hungry or not, instead, they allowed her on her lane, feeding her only when they pleased.
Majority of the time, the highest they could afford was a jug of water for her to quench her thirst, they barely even considered her as a human being, rather, they thought she was some sort of calamity brought upon the people of Paragon. As such, they treated her as an opponent, as if her presence here was to kill the prince, not only the prince but other people that were dear to them too.
Crystal finally opened the drawer once more, removing a pant from the case, she slid it between her legs as they comforted her. Walking towards the bed, she saw the dress that the maids had already licked out for her and watched it for a while.
It became difficult for Crystal to believe her eyes, she could barely understand the fact that a good and well placed linen could be spread on the bed for her, just the thought ached her heart a lot.
Notwithstanding, it didn't stop Crystal from picking it up, from all indications, this gown is going to hold her firmly at each junction of her body. She didn't want to wear it, not in the bit, but then, she just has to manage it the way it is, especially now that things aren't moving on well for her.
This is not her home, and whatever she does, would be used against her.
What if she is accused that she is planning to seduce the prince of Mount Paragon, that will be a cruel thing to say, and even if she does this, it is absolutely going to be awkward.
For heaven's sake, it is clear that the prince visibly doesn't like Crystal, trying will only make him do things that he had not originally planned to do, and that will be a total disaster to him and the kingdom.
So far, the gown was a baby blue gown that had spaghetti straps as hands, and a V-neck. The top held Crystal tight, and when it arrived at the waist, It had a small waistband made out of rubber and flared through her body till her knees.
At first, Crystal was reluctant to wear this gown, but then, Khalil's last words sounded in her mind, she definitely had to do it no matter what.
She doesn't have any right to dictate choices, and no matter what she does, considering the fact that he had destroyed this room, will only add to Prince Khalil's wrath.
It is just a matter of time before he gets here, and when he does, she will be as good as dead in his hands.
Wearing the gown, she arranged it, trying her best for it to arrive her knees, and when it did, she became pleased about it.
Staring at the gown from her body was not enough, so Crystal walked towards her vanity, aiming to see her full image in the mirror.
As expected, Crystal was astonished by the way she looked.
Simpled gown, plain face, wet hair. Just glaring at herself in the mirror is enough to make her send her hands towards her face, touching her smooth skin.
The past week had not been the best for her, the several slaps and torments she had to receive from the soldiers and the others are enough to make her feel terribly bad.
Crystal was aware of the fact that her coming to Mount Paragon is not aimed at a visit to a candy shop, or somewhere people will hold her as an eye candy, instead, she expected it to be as tough as she had already experienced before, receiving series of slaps on her face, doing the silliest things that no one can ever imagine.
In fact, just sleeping all day in the dungeon, barely having food to eat, and then, when she wants to think that there is no hope for her, Khalil shows up as a prince charming, ready to save her from the has of his own people.
To an extent, she loves the way Khalil exchanged words with his commander, refusing correct reasoning, and then, following his own wits to bring her into the castle.
"Since when do captives live in a real castle, living in a comfortable room with a comfortable bed, something I had not known could exist before now, he is really so bad," Crystal mourned throwing her head behind.
Unlike before, Crystal looks extremely beautiful, one could be chanted by her looks, and as she shoved her towel into her hair, she tried her best to dry in.
When she was satisfied with what she got, she left her hair freely so that air could penetrate and make it dry.
Deep in Crystal's heart, she expected a punishment, she knew Prince Khalil is going to punish her, but then, she mounted up her courage, pretending like she was not scared.
She had a plan, but she does not know how effective the plan is going to be, she truly wants to battle words with him when he starts yelling at her, deep in Crystal's mind, she knows that this is absolutely the worse Idea which is worth trying.
Crystal had actually spoken back at Khalil several times, especially when he spoke about something she didn't like or was contrary to the idea, she is going to talk about it, but then, it is kind of weird to do it now, not when she feels too pretty tonight.
Sighing, Crystal definitely had enough time to make up her time now that Khalil is not yet in the room because if he shows up now, it is going to be a very different story then, especially if she didn't plan it well.
Crystal walked towards the pile of clothes she had pulled to the ground, the wardrobe was empty, and its content was on the floor. They were many clothes of several fabrics, the color choices were remarkable all the same, and the way in which it brightened up her way was eh catching.
Although it was like this, it barely meant a thing to her, she didn't even want to think about it or anything that concerns it at all.
Crystal skipped the pile of clothes that were on the ground, she knew that it was a bad thing to do, but she cared less, she just wanted to grab one of the slippers she had thrown while in anger.
The issue is not that Crystal cares a lot about these things, but then, she needs to consider the fact that her feet have to wear shoes__ even though they were just slippers.
Picking the right slippery, she went in search of the other slippery.
To say that she knows where she last kept it is an understatement, In fact, she could not even remember where last she had thrown the slippers.
I mean, she was confused, her actions were ruled by her frustration, and now, she has to face the consequences by looking for the other pair of slippers.
Checking it out made her confuse, she could barely tell if she actually did the correct things, or it was purely her fault.
Of course, it is, deep down her guts she knows it is.
Sighing, she sat on the bed in frustration. There is nothing she can do now, the right pair of her slippers was in her hands and the other pair was nowhere to be found, probably lost in this jungle of clothes.
One could say that Crystal was in the market, at least, that is a clear fact that everyone will jump into it at first sight after seeing these pile of clothes.
It is kind of hard to think that she had actually done this, anger is really a bad thing and now that the anger had deserted her body, the only thing she is left with is a broken soul and one pair of slippers.
Not that they were not several other slippers she could choose from, but the matter is that this one happens to be eye catchy, and the leather fabric used in manufacturing the slippers was just her type, she liked it.
Crystal knows that something is going to happen, she is rather too patient, ticking time as any moment from now, the key will slide into the key knob, and when the door will slide open revealing the man she dreads seeing right now, she will know that being in the dungeon is a million times better than being stuck in this room with a rumbling stomach.
A sigh escaped her lips as she waited for Prince Khalil's wrath to fall on him.
