1664 Words
"Who the hell do you think you are, lady? I am going to flog the hell out of you, and even if you reply me now, I tell you, that is your damn business," Khalil shouted holding a rod in his hand. Since Crystal had refused to reply to him, he had not disturbed himself, rather, he gently walked out of the room and entered his whereby he had looked for a rod. It was his riding crop, and he always used to on his favorite black horse__Stallion__ each time he was too weak to run fast. This is the perfect thing to frighten a truth out of a lady's mouth, and as he approached the room, he unlocked it as before, entering it. Like before, Crystal still sat in the same position, pretending like none of these things were actually happening, she ignored him as much as possible. Crystal had noticed that Prince Khalil had once more entered the room, but she was unaware of the crop in his hand because her head was bowed to the ground, facing it majestically. When Khalil had asked her the last time the same question about the room to give her a last chance to redeem herself, she had not heeded to common sense to answer the question and had therefore sat quietly. Seeing the rod in Khalil's hands right now instinct fear in her, she was so damned troubled, and the fear that was labeled in her eyes was evident. Speaking up in fear, she scurried towards the center of the bed trying her best to avoid this young prince with the crop in his hands. "Not a crop, please, do not use that on me. I will reply to you, yes I will," she muttered frighteningly as she instantly made her way towards the center of the bed. Now, a small flirty smile crept towards his lips as he knew his plan was going to work. Although he had never tried it on anyone, he knew it was evident that any lady that sees the crop will be scared to hell. Well, his guess was correct, and as planned, his plan had worked to perfection. The fear that was plastered on the lady's face showered that she was afraid of him, that was a good start, and thus, he needed to continue in that place. Crystal glanced at Khalil's face and instantly knew that something was up, she understood it at once that he was only playing with her, something that wasn't good at all, it pissed the hell out of her, and as a result, she heaved the air that had been clutched in her chest for a while now. "Why will you want to beat me with a rod? don't you know that s**t hurts?" she inquired raising a brow Prince Khalil. "Hey! lady, I would advise you to censor the words that come out of your large mouth, if it is not fit for the ears of a prince to hear them, I advise you, don't say it okay?" he asked. Once more, Crystal slighted the Prince's words with the intention of not answering it although she had heard what that was. Khalil used the crop to swirl it around her huge palms, replacing his smirk with a scowl, and immediately Crustal smelled the mood change, she looked at him with fear, wondering if what he thought was actually the same thing as was in front of him. "Yes, Prince Camel, I hear you," she said whispering his name part in a feeble way. Crystal was aware of the fact that she had pronounced Khalil's name the way he didn't want and despite the fact that he had warned her severally, she had shown it openly that the warnings had just fallen off deaf ears. If that is the case, Prince Khalil is ready to adjust that mistake. "Wow! clap for yourself miss, I think the crown of stubbornness will be placed on your head, I bet that it will fit you so beautifully, huh? let's brush that aside. How about a good flogging on my part to make you understand the message I've been saying all this while? I bet you, it will be forever engraved when I use this rod for I have come to better understand that action speaks better than words," prince Khalil mouthed. Crystal's hands were now moist, she feared over the fact that Khalil will actually flog the hell out of her, she dreaded that fact. She had not fully recovered from the manner in which the officers had humiliated her, age wasn't ready yet to face another drama, at least, not now. At first, she could not tell if Khalil was serious or not, but when he spied at him and saw him folding the crop around his hand, she knew at once that he was serious, and unless he spoke the truth, the outcome is going to be disastrous. Clearing his throat, he started pacing the floor towards her. Instantly, Crystal started shifting behind, and the moment he raised the whip, oh my gosh! Crystal almost passed out with the manner in which she screamed. It showed how terrified it was, prince Khalil became startled wondering if he had actually flogged her. Of course, he hadn't, the lady had just overreacted, something that totally caught him back. Stopping with his hands still raised up, he looked at Crystal with bewilderment as her eyes were sealed against one another, as she thought she was probably dead. Crystal waited for the rod to match her skin, she knew she was already dead so there was no point in opening her eyes, at a point, she thought what had happened might be real, but then, she tried his best to keep her calm. The earlier the better. Slowly, when she noticed nothing had happened, she opened her eyes. Crustal started with the left eye, followed by the right one, and when she noticed that nothing had happened, or might have probably happened without her knowledge, she seemed a little to the moon with shock. Her eyes finally balanced with Khalil's own, and the only word that escaped her lips were, "Am I dead?" she asked wondering if she already is. Unlike her, it caught Khalil aback as he started laughing. It was a burst of hearty laughter filled with humor. Like seriously, Crystal wasn't a bad captive then, because his life had been entertained since then. Seeing her cry or unhappy might make him sad, and he silently cursed himself for falling so deeply for a girl like Crystal. I mean, she probably killed her father, and as usual, he is supposed to be the bad host tormenting her life to hell instead of laughing at the slightest thing she says. Prince Khalil knew that it is definitely going to be a difficult task, but then, he needs to behave maturely and face her as an enemy. "You are an enemy, you are not supposed to make me laugh," he shot staring dee into her pool of shining eyes. As a reply, Crystal responded to him. "I am a criminal, you are not supposed to laugh at my jokes. Besides, I am damn serious, for once, I thought I was already dead," she replied twisting her face. Prince Khalil sighed, the lady in front of him was slowly drawing his attention towards herself, it is a hard thing to think about but then, it actually happens, more than she can actually think about. Finally, Khalil pressed on his serious face, he didn't want the lady in front of him to take him for granted, not even a bit. Coughing lightly, he had a stern look as he tried his best to comprehend what was going on with him, but then, he concluded that he wants to have a simple discussion with Crystal, maybe it might be a possible and softer way to reach out where his stern voice had not. "Alright, lady..." Prince Khalil's voice trailed when Crystal cut him in. "Crystal!" she mouthed. "What?" he inquired. "I mean my name is Crystal," she said. Prince Khalil raised his brow staring at her weirdly. "Did I ask you for your name?" he inquired. Rolling her eyes, she spat warmly at him. "I noticed you always call me 'lady' I will take it that it is because your ego is too big for you to tell ask my name. Who knows? maybe you were seeing it as belittling yourself or something, but worry less now, I've told you now, and it costs nothing at all," she blurted out. Khalil's cheeks heated as a slight blush brushed his face, he knew that the lady was right, he had longed to know her name, and it didn't sound bad to his ears, no, instead, she was as pretty as the mineral that she represented. Prince Khalil could not believe himself that he had said that, for heaven's sake, he had not even thought about it that way, but now that he has, there is nothing he can do. "Oh! thank you, Crystal is a cool surname, and if you could be prettier than the lady I have here, it would have been better, much better than what we have here," he spat arrogantly. Deep in Khalil's mind, he knew he was lying to the lady that sat in front of him, he watched how solemn her face became, and before he could add something else, the lady brushed it aside, it seems that she was no longer interested in whatsoever that he was about to say. "Save your explanation, Prince Camel, I get it already. I am ugly. By the way, would love to know if you give beauty tutorials for ugly girls like me? I'll love to be part of the class__Mr. Troll," she shot directly into his face. Immediately she said those words, she instantly regretted them.
