Prince Khalil looked at how sweet Crystal is while talking to him, he felt like his heart is going to melt out.
There are several things he wished he could just brush out of his mind, but then, he decided not to hold on to it too much. It is true that he has forgiven Crystal but then, that doesn't mean he wouldn't punish her, she will have to serve a little punishment that will put her on the right track so that such a thing wants to repeat itself in the future, she will know how to deviate her anger from causing any harm to people around her.
Crystal knew that the young man sitting in front of him will punish her, in fact, he is already thinking of something to finish her with, so she tried her best to keep her eyes away from him.
She thought she was saved by keeping her eyes away from his, but she had made a big mistake because when Khalil had prepared to talk to her, he used his index finger and thumb to c**k her chin with it, forcing her to look at him.
"Crystal, I just thought of a better punishment for you," he blurted out.
Immediately, this caused Crystal's heart to sink into her stomach. She became terrified about what that might be, and his lips curled towards the corner, as he eyed her, conscious of the fact that she is worried to hell about what he might give her as punishment.
"Punish me, I am ready to be punished," Crystal said.
She didn't mean a word she said, she just wanted him to believe him that way. It didn't bother prince Khalil though, as he gave her a sidelong long glance, he decided to spit things out.
"Crystal, I want you to clean this room, it should be thoroughly neat like the way you had met it when you entered here. You will do it before you sleep, have I made myself clear?" Khalil asked raising a brow.
The lady sat on the bed feeling like a heap of dirt, she didn't believe her ears on what the prince had just said. For Christ's sake, how on earth will he except her to clean all this mess herself.
It is true that she did It, and had asked him to punish him, but she could imagine that he would ask her to clean the room for him. That is out of the norm, he can barely believe his eyes on that one.
Alright, it will be fair if she does it, but then that didn't mean she wanted to do it, especially as all the wardrobe had come crushing on the floor, it was visible everywhere, and It made her heart trip by just seeing it.
Twisting her face, she didn't even want to think in that direction because it is so awful.
Sighing, she had thought a lot, in fact, so much that it made tears roll off her eyes. They are natural tears, caused by the thoughts that had accumulated in her head. This time, she knew she was overreacting, so she didn't say anything, she just sat there, swallowing the fact that she had just been punished.
Prince Khalil noticed the tears that rolled in her eyes, he felt a pang of guilt strike him because it is his words that had created such an effect, he could not even believe that a tough and determined lady like Crystal will shed tears, it still taunted him so much.
"Why are you crying, lady? you deserve the punishment and even more, so do not cry, I don't even want to see you cry," he said.
His harsh words provoked more tears to flow down Crystal's eyes, this time, she used her hands to hide her face, she didn't want this man to see her crying, Although she didn't want Khalil to see her face, she didn't leave his side, she stayed there trying to make him have mercy on her, although she was too big to ask him to forgive her.
Lucky enough for Crystal, her tears made Khalil's heart melt a little bit, it became a good start especially for what she couldn't force.
Each time she hiccupped, it made a valid sound in Khalil's ears, telling him that he is suppressing a lady, and this is something that he had planned never to do in his life. But then, it has to do with this lady, he just didn't know how to react to it.
Holding Crystal's hands, he tried bringing it down, pulling it away from her face.
"Let me be, please," she said in her rough voice, not wanting to remove her hands from her face.
Her words were like harsh blows to him, she didn't even listen to anything he had to say, making him feel worse than the way he actually is.
"Come on, Crystal, you deserve to arrange the room, you put it this way, so you have to arrange it as it was minutes ago," prince Khalil said.
His words did no good to the girl, instead, she felt like she is going to pass But if she does all these things. It is not easy at all, so this thing is kind of tough.
Actually, when Crystal was putting the room in a disorganized state, she felt that it would make her happy, unfortunately, it didn't. She did not achieve the aim for which she was going in, and is now forced to arrange everything before she sleeps.
Sniffing, Crystal gently removed her hands from her face, it made her feel a little confident. Standing at the corner on the bed, she wiped her tear-streaked face. She had decided not to cry because it isn't worth it, not at all.
"I will arrange the room, if you don't mind, can you leave the room for me? I will like to work in peace," she muttered.
Her calmness was the best, it made her feel more reserved, as If she is a queen and Khalil the captive. Crystal did not mind what the prince is about to say, it did not mean anything to her anymore.
Khalil waking from the bed, towered around Crystal, his huge height above her, and it caused her heart to trip a little bit, Although she pretended to like it didn't bother her, Crystal's heart tripped when she had the prince in front of her in that manner.
"Crystal," Prince Khalil started.
She was fast in answering him and brushing everything he had to say aside.
"Please, don't call me. You heard what I said if you do not mind, can you allow me to work in peace?" she inquired.
There is no doubt that Crystal is being arrogant, just thinking about it is enough to make her want to cry, and the thought is heavenly.
Prince Khalil is not an easygoing person too, in fact, he refuses to allow a little girl like Crystal to control him or tell him what to do. Instead, he is the one who tells people what to do. He is the Prince and not her.
Staring at her face, Khalil admired everything about this lady, the manner in which her eyes were still filled with tears, she wasn't crying anymore, but that didn't mean anything, at least, it didn't say anything to her, but it meant a lot to the prince.
Naturally, he is not good at having people around him cry, especially when he is always someone in a good mood, trying his best to make everyone around him comfortable.
"Allow you to work in peace? come on, Crystal, what is your problem? why do you like raising the dead?" Khalil asked.
"Raising the death? what. you mean by that?" Crystal asked.
Her mind was kind of blocked because she didn't expect this to happen not at all, and she hates it when people talk to her in parables. Glaring at prince Khalil, she looked at him expecting a reply.
Khalil chuckled, he knew that Crystal will is this confusion which is why he used that particular term, trying to confuse her even more.
As he laughed, it kind of irritated the lady in front of her, she didn't find it funny, not in the least, and it made her stomach churn as she tried her best to know what is funny.
"Why are you laughing like an animal huh? don't you think that it will be better if you just simply tell me what that is about rather than confuse me in this odd manner? I tell you the truth, I don't find it funny at all," she said openly expressing her mind.
The worst thing that happened to her was having to say that, because when prince Khalil spoke to her, it was the worst thing she could ever dream of, his words were dreadful, and she wished instantly that the ground would open and allow her to enter in it.
"You, little beast, you destroyed this room, it is your doing and not mine, but then when I want to talk about you arranging this room, all you have to say is that I should leave you to work? hell no, I wouldn't. That is why I asked you to stop raising the death, yes, you shouldn't just try and provoke me this evening because I do not want to lose my temper on you now," prince Khalil spat in anger.
The temper in him had risen to his throat already, and he was one step on losing that anger.
Crystal stared at the other side of him, unable to breathe a word.
