When I was heading back to my office, I bumped directly into Megan, which was a complete accident. She retreated a few feet and then fell as she did so. I grasped her shoulder to protect her from falling. "What the hell, are you all right?" I inquired as our eyes met. "Yes, I'm sorry, I didn't check where I was going," the speaker said. She remarked while seeming concerned.
"Megs, what's the matter with you?" I inquired as she averted her gaze from me by turning her head. She was obviously concerned that I would figure out that she was displeased about something.
