I turned to look at my Amzi as his eyes glazed over with a white film his body going rigid as he spoke his voice layered by many others all at once if I had not witnessed this before I would have been freaking out already.
“Listen as we speak young one as we shall no to repeat

Kaiezua swayed as the white film left his eyes, I reached out a hand and steadied him, he looked drained with blue bags under his eyes he appeared to have lost weight in the minute it had taken for him to pass on the message from the old witch.
Goto your room and rest I will hunt alone tonight I say turning my friend in the direction of his room giving his shoulder s slight push he seemed to disagree for a second before he shuddered and picked up his tired feet dragging himself towards his quarters, I watched his back before he disappeared from sight at the end of the hall.
As soon as I could feel Kai resting within his quarters I stepped through the portal to the human world and took a deep breath, I don’t know what it is about this world but my heart flutters with anticipation each time ... a smell so sweet my mouth waters enters my nose for the briefest amount of time before it fades and I'm left wondering if it was my imagination.
