what the hell just happened

Aria's pov
What the ... I jumped awake in my bed and listened for the noise I was sure had woken me up, shaking my head I lay back down in order to go back to sleep huh must have been a nightmare I sigh. Just as I'm closing my eyes and start to drift off to sleep, I hear a muffled grunt out the back of my house. I knew I wasn’t hearing thing’s so I quicky tiptoe to my back window and peek out the corner of my blind. It’s dark almost too dark to see anything but my eye sight had always been good so I could just make out the outline of a very large man slumped in the shadows leaning beside the brick shed in my back garden.
Huh how’d he managed to get through the locked and bolted gate I wonder to myself as I quickly slip into my slippers and a nightgown before creeping out my bedroom door, I pause atop the landing to listen in making sure my son jj is still sleeping soundly then I creep down the stairs and round the entrance hall and turn right into my kitchen as I quietly walk on tiptoes to my back door peering through the peep hole.
