My eyes snapped to the woman sitting on my bed and my jaw dropped. My heart skipped and my eyes widened at the sight of her.
"Surprise......" She said and got up from the bed while I gaped at her more. She walked towards me and wrapped her hands around my shoulders and rested her head on my chest while I stood there, emotionless.
"I missed you so much Mateo, I couldn't wait to get back home to you" she stated and pulled away from the hug with a smile on her face. Then she caressed my cheeks and ran her hands through my hair.
"You look healthy and so cute" she complimented and stood on her toes.
Her lips brushed against mine and that brought me out of my trance. I pushed her slightly away and backed up.
"Mia...." I called out in a whisper. I still couldn't believe she was right
