Delilah “Hello Delilah.” I stared, hovering in the doorway of the hospital doorway. I didn’t know how he knew I was there but I guess after years of having to have eyes in the back of your head , you got good at knowing when someone was sneaking up on you. Not that I could sneak up on anyone these days. I was officially the size of a whale. Even walking a few paces made me wheeze. And I knew I shouldn’t be here, I shouldn’t even be out of my bed but Double had asked me. And if it meant I could clear all of this mess up. Then it was what I was going to do. Minute and Juice we’re going to half heart attacks when they realised I had snuck out. But hey, what was a girl to do? I expected him to turn but he didn’t move. The wheelchair stayed exactly where it was, angled towards the window.
