I knew as soon as I heard Crow shout up that there had been an accident what it was and I couldn’t help the grin. I tried but I couldn’t.
I had expected this day to end badly but so far everything had come up smelling of Roses. Delilah had taken the news of me maybe having a kid better than even I was. And she still wanted to be my wife . And now another piece of good news had literally just landed in my lap.
I felt blessed.
On top of the world.
And I couldn’t wait to celebrate tonight. Ideally with Delilah’s legs wrapped firmly around my head. Of course that would have to wait but it gave me another thing to look forward to.
