Delilah ”Because I think I’m in love with you.” His words made me freeze. His hand still wrapped around my ankle where it lay across his thighs. How long had I dreamt of him saying those words? Year and years. And now I didn’t know how to react. “Del.” His voice was quiet. “Did you hear what I said?” His thumb rubbed over my skin, back and forth, back and forth. He was nervous. And that was fine so was I. “I heard you.” I answered him quietly. My voice barely a whisper as I extracted myself from his hands. Closing the door with a click I leant my forehead against it. My eyes screwed shut. “And?” I didn’t need to turn to know he had come up behind me. The air moved, the atmosphere shifted. “Delilah?” His hand pulled me back against the hardness of his chest, his lips on my neck.
