MAX I wake up to find Natalia curled in my arms. Her small body is entangled with mine; one leg between mine, one arm resting on my chest, my own behind her head. Her breaths are still even, her eyes fluttering behind her lids. I brush her silvery hair off her shoulder, my heart leaping at the sight of my mark on her skin. A grey crescent moon rests on its curved side with a white flame dancing above it. The perfect symbol for our love. The moon for our wolves, and a waning moon that represents surrender, a time for renewing and resting. My surrender to the bond, a time for us to just be. And fire.
