NATALIA I breathe in the smell of the trees all around me; leaves crunching under my bare feet, the wind rustling the dress at my knees as I run. In this moment, I am at complete peace. I run for miles until the trees begin to thicken and grow around me, and the undeniable scent of iron fills my nostrils. Five wolves suddenly burst from the thick trees, surrounding me. Two shift back into men, lunging at me to grapple for my arms. I fight, but their bulk overwhelms me. They carry me through the thick foliage until it clears out to a less dense area.
