"We got into a huge fight yesterday, as usual he demanded for, you know. I vehemently refused and as usual he tried to blackmail me saying I'm neglecting my marital duties, I told him Allah will not punish me for that which is haram. He begged, I still refused, he then got angry and threatened me, in fact he later tried to force himself on me but I fought back, I threatened to take him to court and sue him for spousal r**e and maltreatment. That seemed to do the trick, he got scared and left me.
Then only when I thought he had relented, he came back saying he couldn't live with a recalcitrant wife, that I wasn't submissive, too strong headed and I know too much of my rights that I shouldn't. He then pronounced one divorce and told me to leave his house immediately. That was around 12 mid
