Chapter 25 Meet the Magical Beast for the Second Time

"They're really beautiful. This is the first time I have seen Xue Linglong. As you said, they are the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen."

After hearing Dugu Muyou's words, the corner of Hua Qingyue's mouth curled up. Hua Qingshui glanced at both of them and surmised what was going on. He spoke smilingly, "Alright, let's not just stand here. Let's go inside and find out if anyone lives here."

"Fair enough. We need a place to spend the night. If the gardener is here, that will be great," said Dugu Muyou approvingly.

Thus, he had to protect her. No matter where she went, he had to be there for her.

Dugu Muyou felt a lot comfortable after she took care of the matter amid the weeds. When she walked forward, she saw the darkening sky, and the previous red light was not as obvious as the daytime. Now only a dark red light could be seen.

She did not expect the quick nightfall.

When she was about to leave, Dugu Muyou heard a heavy gasp behind her!

The beast's mouth was as big as a basin, and its head was even alarmingly gigantic with a horn on it, which looked like the horn from the unicorn. Nonetheless, this beast looked utterly disgusting!

What should she do?

She was whacked from the fight with Jiuqi Demon and unable to fight violently with the beast. Dugu Muyou took two steps back in an attempt to avoid the duel.

Nonetheless, the beast did not show any signs of leaving. It stared at Dugu Muyou with the green light flashing from its eyes and enormous air spouting from its nostrils.

Dugu Muyou tried to let her heartbeat resume the normal frequency. However, the beast would not let her go that easily. With its paw pressing tightly down on Dugu Muyou's clothes, Dugu Muyou could not summon her strength to use spiritual qi to attack it. She felt her body was nearly crushed by the pressure.

She could hardly bear the pain of her arms.

The beast pulled Dugu Muyou by her clothes and threw her in the air. She was thrown in the air like a doll not subject to gravity. Dugu Muyou fell heavily onto the ground, and blood immediately shed from the corner of her mouth.

Dugu Muyou sat on the ground and took a step back, wiping off the blood marks on the corners of her mouth with the back of her hand, but the beast in front of her obviously did not have the slightest intention of backing down. It pressed so closely that Dugu Muyou could not escape at all.

"Nangong Xun?" Dugu Muyou was surprised to see him here. Nangong Xun wore a long dark rope in the wind with an arrogant expression on his face. Although she called out his name unconsciously out of surprise, she was a bit relieved.

"You are still so weak. What can I do about this?" Nangong Xun's voice appeared so indifferent. The words coming out of his slightly moving thin lips were powerful enough to send Dugu Muyou a quiver.

Dugu Muyou showed disdain, despite the fact that she was just saved by Nangong Xun. "What are you doing here? Do you really think I would have been eaten if you had not come?" Dugu Muyou looked up at him stubbornly, "You think too low of me. I'm not that weak."

Nangong Xun did not want to argue with her about her weakness. He said coldly while changing the subject, "There are many dangers lurking around in Valley of Magical Animals. Although you'll find many beasts and crises, this is also a good place to get stronger. You'd better take care of yourself."

As soon as he said the words, he disappeared as a pile of spiritual qi from the sky. Dugu Muyou was staring at the place he disappeared in a daze. For a moment she did not realize he was gone. She thought to herself dully, how many years of practice it would take to reach his rank?
