Seeing the caller ID, Jack sighed in relief.
“Thank god Ms. Jessy called or I could have died just by Sir Liam’s gaze that very moment as well!” Jack thought as he went back to his seat.
Liam then re-composed his self and answered the call.
“Hi my love.”
“Have you arrived already?” Jessy asked sweetly on the other line making it more quicker for his anger to subside.
“Not yet, but we are almost there, a few more minutes I guess.”
“Thought so too. Been calling you for a while now but couldn’t get through, just now though.” Jessy answered as she softly giggled. “I’m very nervous, that’s why I called. I want to somehow divert my attention to you.”
