Mr. Possessive & Ms. Insecure

CHAPTER 6 – A KIND GIRLFRIEND

Jessy was then left alone in the big suite. Confused and shocked, she sat at the sofa looking at the big city through the glass wall.

“Who is he, why haven’t I heard of him? He owns a Ferrari, owns the biggest suite in Hyatt Residence and now, a Boss?” Jessy thought as shrills run down her spine, the thought of how rich the man he just got acquainted with made her head hurts. “I better find a job and place soon; I can’t keep leaving in his place. People might think wrongly of me if they find out that I’m a nobody and I'm living here, in this such luxurious place.”

Jessy then stood up, went upstairs and got her laptop. She then started browsing for job vacancy. She thought anything will do for now as long as it is a decent job and the pay can get her a place to stay and food to eat.

Half a day passed and she was able to send a handful of resume's to different companies, most of which are of her field while some, are out of desperation.

Looking at the time, it was already pass 3 in the afternoon. She totally forgot about the time and her tummy is already rumbling from hunger.

Remembering that there are still some leftovers from a while ago’ s breakfast, she hurriedly went down to eat. While eating Jessy suddenly remembered something “What does he probably mean by I’ll see you later?” Jessy paused “Maybe I heard him wrong.” she smiled “besides I need to go buy some groceries or else I’ll starve myself here.”

After she ate, she tidied up the place and prepared herself to leave. As she got out of the suite, she hurriedly went on the elevator not wanting to meet anyone. But when she arrived in the lobby, she was greeted politely by the staff.

On her way outside she realized that the suite was situated in a secluded and private place.

“Excuse me. Uhm Miss can you ask someone please to hail a cab for me?” Jessy asked the attendant.

“Hi Ms. Scott, no need. Mr. Spencer already arranged a chauffeur for you, in case you need to go somewhere.”

“Chauffeur?”

“Yes, I’ll ask him to prepare. Please wait for a while. He will be here soon.” The attendant answered as she assisted Jessy to wait in a nearby lounge.

“uhhh... okay. Thank you” Jessy smiled, following the attendant.

Jessy then sat on one of the sofa's in the lounge and waited. After a few minutes, the attendant informed her that the chauffer is already waiting for her at the lobby. She then hurriedly went out and rode the car.

“Good day Ms. Scott, I’m Richardson and I’m the chauffeur that Mr. Spencer has assigned for you." Richardson smiled as he introduced his self. "Where are we heading today?” he added.

“Hi Mr. Richardson, please drive me to the Supermarket”

Mr. Richardson didn’t say a word and just nodded.

Not long after, they finally arrived at the supermarket.

“Thank you for the ride, Mr. Richardson, no need to wait for me. I’ll be on my way” Jessy said as she stepped out of the car.

“I will wait miss. That is the instruction of Mr. Spencer, since it will be very inconvenient for you to hail a cab going to the Hyatt Residence.” Richardson explained.

“Can I Insist that I’ll be, okay?” Jessy smiled.

“No miss.” Mr. Richardson answered sternly.

“Okay, then I’ll be quick.” Jessy smiled and went directly inside the supermarket.

Inside the supermarket, Jessy then went through every aisle getting all the necessary stuffs she needs to last her for a couple of weeks in the suite. She is very keen and specific in getting the food and toiletries she uses. She is not a health buff herself but she makes sure that she is getting the quality she will be paying. As she was seriously browsing through the aisles, she was startled by the ringing of her phone.

“Who could be calling me at this time?” she thought as she rummages in her bag to look for her phone. When she got hold of her phone, she was shocked to see the caller ID.

“Hello?”

“Hey Jes, where are you?” Liam asked enthusiastically.

“uhmm. I’m at the supermarket. By the way thanks for the chauffeur” Jessy answered while wondering why he called.

“Okay, I’m on my way there. Wait for me.”

Before Jessy even got the chance to answer, Liam already cancelled the call. She was again dumbfounded because of him.

She then continued to get all the stuff she needs hurriedly, thinking that incase if he will really come, she is already done.

As she was choosing some vegetables, someone suddenly talked to her.

“I never saw someone who is so meticulous in choosing vegetables.” Liam teased as he laugh.

Startled, Jessy was caught off guard and gave Liam a rigid punch on his arms “you scared me! can’t you see, I was focusing on choosing?” Jessy complained.

“Exactly, you were focusing so much you didn’t even notice I have been standing behind you for quiet sometime already.” Liam explained.

“Really? I didn’t know... Sorry.” Jessy smiled while bowing her head in embarrassment.

Liam laughed “Don’t be too nice.”

“Why are you here anyway?” Jessy asked trying to change the topic as she pushed her cart forward.

“I told you a while ago I’ll see you later, that’s why I’m here”

“You really don’t have to. I mean, I think you are a busy man.” Jessy bowed her head down as she continued to walk going to the counter. Seeing such attractive man walking beside her, Jessy can feel the deadly stares of jealousy from the people around her.

“Yes, I’m a very busy man.” Liam said making Jessy feel a bit more embarrassed, but then Liam continued “The good thing is, I hold my time, so no one can boss me around. I can be where I want to be." Liam paused and added. "And right now, I want to accompany you.”

Jessy felt very flattered that she wanted to be devoured by the floor. She then doubled her steps and immediately arrived in the counter. She placed the stuffs she bought on the counter but Liam stopped her and he immediately took over. Then the lady from behind them told Jessy

“You are a very lucky girl; you have a very caring boyfriend”

Jessy was about to correct the lady in the fear that Liam might get mad, but she was not given a chance.

Liam suddenly reached for Jessy’s waist bringing her closer to him and softly said. “Thank you. But I am luckier to have a kind girlfriend.” Liam answered on Jessy's behalf.
