Chapter 5: Get your Act Together.

Suddenly I heard a knock on the door, I got up bolt straight up. Ugh, who is it now?!
I saw Kronos enter inside.
Ugh, already my head was hurting getting up with a startle.
And now that I have seen this handsome-jerk a.k.a (Also known as ) Kronos’s face my head felt as if there was a drilling machine on top of it.
'What the hell does he want now!?'
He looks at me, still sitting on the bed.
AND HE SMIRKED
' I bet this rude, handsome-jerk is thinking something I am hundred no cut that thousand percent sure, I won’t like.'
He clapped his hands, and out of nowhere two maids came in, it seems more like magic, I mean by just hearing a clap they came in. He simply nodded at them.
Walking towards me….. Oh no! I don't like this...
They reached in towards my clothes and I backed out.
“ARE YOU SOME SICK p*****t!” he just looked at me with that smirk plastered over his face.
The next, thing I knew; I was in the bathtub n***d in front of the maids and a few minutes later dressed just like them.
In a gorgeous pale blue tea dress, with a flared outward from underneath the tear line.
Even when the dress looked elegant but the corset inside! It made me feel like a crushed cucumber.
“It is so dang tight! Can they loosen up a bit?” AND JUST GUEST WHAT THEY DID, JUST IGNORED ME.
Kronos looked delighted, by the outcome.
I mean more of a very satisfied look something a person could give when he or she is given a challenged and they succeed.
Now that Kronos looked at her, he saw that the girl wasn’t nearly as plain as he first thought. Her ill-fitting clothes had made her seem so, but now he realized his mistake.
My eyes widened seeing her...
The fact that she wore no makeup only revealed the perfection of her golden-brown, honey-like glowing skin. Her eyelashes and eyebrows were so light as to be invisible.
Proved the glorious pale gold of her hair came from nature.
She wore no lipstick. She wasn’t stick thin, but her ample curves only made her more lushly desirable.
He suddenly realized that she was a beauty.
A secret beauty disguising herself away from the world.
Beneath the unattractive and frumpy clothing,
With a frizzy hairstyle, her loveliness shone brightly as the sun.
She hid her beauty.
Why?
“What’s wrong?” he asked me.
“You are staring at me.” I felt a mad blush rushing to my head. I screamed.
“What the hell are y’all doing?”
"Do not you know that~" I was cut.
“You are beautiful,” he said simply. “Like sunshine in the winter morning.”
I blushed, biting at my lips and looked away.
“Don’t be ridiculous. I know I’m pretty.”
“No need to let your pretty little head get worked up.”
“Now I’m offended with that comment mister! Don’t waste your empty flattery words on me.”
He gave me an easy smile. “What makes you think it's flattery? Maybe I was just being honest or planning to seduce you or want something from you...”
What he said seems like he was being honest. But I only answer the first question, “A few false compliments doesn’t suit you.”
He took a step towards me staring at me with his emerald eyes
“W-What are you doing?”…. I stepped back worried if he wanted to pick up a fight.
Ignoring me he introduced me to the woman who had entered in.
“Madame Claire this is the young woman I spoke about.”
“I see,” her voice reminded me like one of those Mathematics teachers in my school who sees only wrong or right and no in-between.
Kronos said something to the lady and she exited the room.
“Excuse me, I have got a beautiful name if you don’t know it's Catina Ellison.”
“I don’t need to remember it yet.” Who does he think is full of himself!?
As he walked out of the room, I merely followed him quietly.
'While walking well actually running he walks so fast! He is walking as if his tail end was lit on fire!’
“Hey, can you slow down! Simply because you got long legs doesn’t mean you will walk so fast!”
“Then why don’t you try using your tiny legs and walk quicker! Instead of using that mouth of yours.”
‘I hope I can take that long leg of his and stuff in that sharp mouth he’s got.’
I have to plan to get out of here as quickly as possible. Where is this place, anyway?! I made my way towards the unknown place jogging.
I was astonished, unable to point out how I felt at that moment.
‘A beautiful garden, lavish with greenery and a fountain at the centre.’
Kronos who stood beside me just kept on looking at me. What’s with this guy he just keeps on staring at me? I mean I’m alright with it, I know I’m too pretty to resist.
But somebody needs to tell him it is bad manners to stare at people.
“You-…”
“Excuse me, your guest has arrived; where would you like to meet?” Dustin interrupted him.
Guessing from the terrifying glares Kronos was sending towards him; he is going to bury his friend.
“Send the guest to the drawing-room.”
He clenched his fist spat out his order and continued.
“Hey you, wher-…”
“Oh, and they are extremely impatient” he shot another terrifying glare right through him.
“Hey, I didn-” Dustin said putting his hands up as if he was surrendering.
“You look after her”
“But I…”
“Did I shudder?”
He shook his head wildly side by side. I don’t know if he shuddered or not, but I shivered with the tone Kronos used.
“ ‘YoU lOoK aFtEr HeR’ he mimicked Kronos’s voice.
“Hey, Kronos!” I waved my hand behind Dustin in the direction where Kronos stood
“…….! Hey, don’t get the wrong idea I didn’t-" He turned back looking no one was there.
“Hahaha what a coward you can’t even talk to him.”
“As if you know him better THAN ME if I would be a woman I would be his wife by now,” he said with pride, but I was not anything less.
“Yeah, sure you can go ahead and marry him.”
“Hey little sheep I’m busy; he left you here under my care I’m supposed to be a babysitter for you, then to get married. Do you want the grass to feast on?”
“Do you think I’m some sort of animal?”
“Anyways, I’m there” pointing at the nearby bench “if you want some grass to feed on”
“Thanks... No need for that!” I around my eyes and walked away from him
* Rustle *
Huh? I thought I picked up a rustling voice I pause there is not voice anymore I pretend to walk away.
* Rustle *
“Hah, there what are yo-” I couldn’t possibly be able to question seeing it. Like how could I?
It was an adorable fluffy puppy looking at me with teary eyes. How adorable its eyes looked.
I looked at the pup with curiosity. Oh, the leg.
“You’re hurt! Wait till I get a first aid kit” It held the hem of my skirt in its mouth looking up to me with even more watery eyes as if telling me no.
“But I need it to help you… alright then.”
I tore the hem of my skirt I’m sorry for ruining the dress, but right now the puppy is important!
“Are you alright now? Can you walk” it nodded as if it could understand me?
“What are you doing here on the ground?”
I flicked at Dustin's sudden voice.“Hey, your pup was hurt so-”
“Puppy? There are no children here, are you feeling the sun rays in your head.” HE needs to be shot for interrupting.
“I mean a dog, not a human. And what you- ” I turned to look to if he was blind or what but the puppy was not there.
“Do you feel sick?”
“NO! No, I am not... and I wonder what is taking Kronos so long.” I said changing the topic.
“Well, of course, his guest is a pretty woman.” he looked at me suggestively.
“Wait lost sheep. Are you lost in love with him that you’re asking me?” he peered, I looked at him as if he told me a dead animal had come back to life.
“I would be crazy if I fall in love with that arrogant man.”
Suddenly I felt a strong pull from behind. Before I could react he wraps his muscled arms around me. And a hand was placed on my mouth making my head turn towards my side.
The soft hand glove fabric touches my cheek.
“Stay quiet and do as I say” I felt a cold toned whisper in my ears.
He moved his eyes in a direction I turned to look, but he grabbed a hold of my head and closed in.
I closed my eyes in reflex his face had come close to me just a centimetre away for his lips to touch my skin.
The sudden warmth of his embrace made my heart skip so bad I wanted to run away.
I want to push him away, but I know I can’t do that.
He held my body firmly in his arms.
“Mumh!” I tried to say his name but it dissolved by his stronghold on my mouth.
I was surprised to see his face right next to me as his front was stuck close to my back.
‘If someone else would see they would think we are couples snuggling next to each other.’
Suddenly my heartbeat thunders in my ears. I remember to breathe again, and I inhale a sweet cologne scent.
Kronos just looked at her, I think it's the pretty woman that Dustin was talking about and pulled me even closer to him. And his lips right near my cheeks.
“They call me His Highness here.” I just nodded, his heat of the body I could feel it on my back even through the clothes.
“Get your act together,” he said in a colder tone which removed all my fantasy thoughts I had.
From the side rear of my eyes, I saw someone peeping from the bushes.
“She is coming. Get close to me”
He loosens his embrace as soon as he did that I grabbed his hand tightly in my arms.
He gave a small peck on my cheeks.
I glared at him in silence. I hope he got my message loud and clear.
‘DON’T YOU DARE do that again.’
I was sure he got my message I smirk at him. His face grew stiff into a firm straight line.
“What kind of indecency is that!?”
