Azriel's POV:
The way she jumps out of her bed and rushes to me makes my heart sink. Her eyes are round and there is something I don't fully comprehend inside of those story blue eyes. For a brief moment, I wanted to scold her, but she seemed straight up terrified and the way she jumps at me to catch her, makes me feel a bit stupid for wanting to correct her behaviour.
I could understand she missed me, or that she felt alone, but such behaviour was unnecessary!
But then it hit me. At first, it was something barely muffled, but she seemed to pick up on it faster than I did.
