The Sun - I want to remember

1077 Words
As I eat, Cyro makes sure my glass of wine is always filled with an indecent amount of sweet red wine, that seems to just keep coming. He does not allow my glass to go less than half empty before he would refill it without a word. I am grateful for the way he seems to pay attention to small details, but something within me tells me he is aiming to get me drunk. Do I mind it? Partially, I do, but I am not going to complain right now. This man was actually doing his best to be a good host , and I could literally see the strain he was putting on himself, to refrain himself from leaning in and touching me. Though, I would casually touch his legs with mine under the table, making it seem like a little accident. At first, he seemed to actually believe me and he would not reciprocate the touch, but soon, the way his smirk broadens on his face tells me he was taking the hint. Or maybe not, because he did not move closer or anything, he just simply waited to see what I was going to do. What was I going to do anyway? I did not really have a plan, but touching him felt natural. Felt normal, as if this is exactly what should be happening between us. It almost felt like there was an invisible string that tied us together in a way I could not truly explain to myself or anyone else. When I decide I had enough food, i lean back and take my glass in my hand, sipping from the red wine, my eyes pinned on the empty plate in front of me, as I try to find something to say. "Quiet as a mouse, as always, aren't you?" Cyro speaks, his voice low, throaty, as if he had been waiting to taunt me for a while now, his head leaning to the side, watching me through heavy lidded eyes. "Hm?" I found myself a bit startled, suddenly turning to look at him. At first, I was not sure I got what he was saying, btu when I did, I found myself blushing and feeling a bit fidgety again. "Taunting me then turning silent, turning away and playing as if you have not just tempted the beast to come out-" he sighs softly, looking disappointed, his gaze shifting to his almost empty glass of whatever he was drinking there. He smirks down at the glass and before he says something else, he downs the drink and sets the glass down. "- And I'm left here, debating if I should awaken your little beast too, or allow it to sleep some more." his fiery eyes turn to me, that predator smile spreading on his lips again, along with his strange beast like behaviour. I am not sure what to say, and it seems that he knows that, for he elands forward, nearing me, the hand that supported his head earlier, grabbing the arm of my chair and pulling it closer with such ease that I suddenly feel that I am in danger. He shifts the chair so I am facing him right now, and his hand lands in my lap, gripping my thigh softly, as he moves closer. "Do you really think you can go around toying with me like this? Do you think you can simply evade me for much longer?" He leans closer, the tip of his nose brushing against mine slowly. "Do you think I don't feel your need, Everyn?" The way my name rolls off of his lips makes me suck in my breath and feel all giddy and fuzzy. "Do you think I don't smell you? your need? Do you think I don't hear the way your heart picks up everytime you look at me? I know you feel it too. I know that all those memories are still there, ready to be brought out-" his voice trails, his hot breath falling right against my lips. He smells like fine alcohol mixed with something that makes me think of long late summer nights spent around a campfire. "Let me bring them back!" It was not a request. It was a demand. One I am not sure I have the power to refuse right now! Not when his scent is intoxicating me like this, not when it feels like he is ready to do unspeakable things to me. Not when the buzz under my skin makes me crave for more and my body seems to have a mind of its own right now. My arms go up and my hands take a soft hold of his cheeks. I feel him smirk under my touch and, his eyes move slowly from my lips, up to my eyes, taking a few moments to pull back, just a few inches so he could look at my face. I am sure that whatever he seems pleases him, because I can see the way his pupils blow and a low growl starts in his chest, his eyes closing slowly, and he leans into my touch with a pleased sigh. "Oh~" he mused through his lips, his head turning slowly in my hand, one of his palm resting over my hand that's on his cheek. "How I missed your touch~" he presses a kiss on my palm, and I feel like I'm about to melt. "Your gentle, warm and soothing lovely touch-" he breathed in greedily, his nose dipping into my palm before he opened his eyes and looked up at me through his lashes, his lips peeling back and exposing his slightly fanged teeth, that seemed to be made to bite and rip to shreds. He gets up from his seat and closes the distance between us, his hands now going on both arm rests of my chair, trapping me in my seat, while he looms over me, his hair falling like a curtain around his face. "Cyro-" I breathe out, my voice a bit shaky as my head leans back and I take a few moments to stare at him, to scan and map out his face with the hand that reaches for his face again, slowly tracing the countor of his cheek. "I want to remember... " I whisper with a bit of hesitance and he seems to suddenly brighten and burn brighter, his fire like eyes coming alive once again.
