"Yes, your majesty," I said, my voice almost breaking from fright.
"That maid didn't help you, did she? She was accused, right?" he asked, staring me in the eyes. I immediately looked down, my eyes facing the ground. "Look at me," he thundered, his hand finding my chin roughly.
I was forced to stare at the Alpha and almost felt myself shaking like a leaf.
