The both woke up before the sun could even ascend. Exactly four o'clock when Klay woke up and ten minutes later he also woke Azul. He let her use his suit that he wrapped around her last night. She had fever, she was burning last night and Klay was all worried that he barely slept.
"Are you still feeling heavy?" He asked to her as soon as she had herself up.
"I'm fine" she mumbled "Thank you for last night, Klay." she gave her a faint smile.
"No worries" he smiled back "We better leave so that you can take some pills and tell your roommate that you'd not be attending your classes, otherwise I'd talk to your instructors. I know most of them and they're not really hard to find around the university"
"No...no... you've done so much for me. I have their contacts anyway."
"O-okay"
They then headed out silently. He lets Azul to walk ahead him, carefully watching after her. Azul is still dizzy, it's obvious on how she wobbly walks and that Klay noticed it. He was diffident to get in touch with her that's why he stayed just near her, enough for him to catch her if ever she'd fall.
As they got out, they're encountered by the freezing calm of the dawn. The bluish sky is darker due to the heavy rain earlier. And Azul suddenly halted few steps after they got out the rink. She was staring somewhere, somewhere through the apertures of the trees that stood almost adjacently— and there was a beam, a golden beam that escaped through the spaces between.
Azul turned at Klay "Let's watch the sunrise" she muttered almost whispering but Klay heard it clear.
"Azul" he spoke her name.
"Please" she pleaded in a nonchalant voice that you can't even recognize wether she was pleading or being sarcastic.
"We can see it as we're driving through"
"But I want to see it—" she turned back at where she's looking earlier and extended her arms to point her fingers into the same direction "I want to watch it from there, Klay"
"B-But— look..." he walked nearer to her "It is not like I don't want to but you are sick. And I could see that you're not quite feeling well—"
"Seeing the sunrise would make me feel better" she cuts him off pursuing her thing.
He sighed.
She smiled.
"A-are you sure?" He asked, she nodded "Can I bring you somewhere, right now, right here. Just inches distant." and he opened his palms to her, her smile widened before putting her right hand into Klay's.

The places that Klay introduces was always deserted— something that Azul falls in love with. He led her to another abandoned space inside the woods, inches distant from the skating rink. They trod a concreted path, a pavement that was almost devoured by the bush around. Fortunately, Klay is expert with the place that they did not had a hard time groping the path.
The path that led them into a deserted small theme park next to the cliff. It seems to be the edge of Lila Heights or so. There was a Ferris wheel and swing ride in a smaller built, and the rest are already flat rides— the place is obviously intended for kids. There were also stalls and kiosk around, the whole place was bounded by a cute picket fence. The paints in every infrastructure are all faded and everything has been rusty otherwise mossy. The place is wide, ranges around 400 square meter and is unfinished.
They both ended up in the swing, that's facing the east side which is the cliff. There was a tall wire that serves as a curb to not get straight falling into the cliff that was inches distant from the edge of the cliff. The wire is as well rusty and that there were even big holes where someone could perfectly fit themselves and sneak out, which Azul sooner did.
"Oh come on" Klay groaned, watching Azul get into the other side— the space near the edge of the cliff.
"Come on here, Klay" she invited moving her hands "Don't worry we won't fall down this cliff. Come on let's watch the city."
"Azul it's cold"
"The air is still fresh" she grinned.
Klay ended up following Azul there, he just couldn't bare her. He is far from being done with her though, he hasn't been with any girl that as enthusiastic and morbid as Azul that he is somewhat surprised by whatever she does or the things that she was thinking of doing. She is wild— melancholically wild.
The sun sooner ascended, totally, out the horizon and the both witnessed the wonderful view. Klay has seen sunrise in the same place or other places, numerous times but Azul— it was her first time to intently look and witness it. In her 21 years of existence she never saw the sun rising, she always do notice how it does inside her room— she somehow saw how it did, partly as it has always been covered by the leaves and branches of the ginormous trees that surrounds their very home, from the windows of her gloomy dark room.
"This is great" she muttered, turning to look at Klay.
"You're insane"
"I really am" she grinned, biting the bottom of her lips "Thank you, anyways."
"For what?"
"For bringing me to these kind of places" she lowered her gazes down "I haven't been in such places you know. I could consider this one as my first time adventure."
"You haven't?"
"Yes, this is a new experience. A sort of, first time experience."
"That explains why you seem so eager to watch the sunrise then" Klay said and she just then chuckled. "But you know... that was strange."
"I am strange"
"Eccentric"
"You seems just like sugar coating it" she snorted.
Klay chuckled and said "But no; seriously, it seems like you haven't experienced basic things that every kid or every teenager inevitably do— must do, must have."
"Is it really a must?"
"No, only if your parents are that uptight. Are they?"
"What do you think?"
"It seems like it"
She sighed and turned her gazes back at the sky. Thw sun is totally up— and the both did not even noticed as they're so focused at each other. The wind strayed, it's not as cold as before— it went a bit warm that Azul managed to remove Klay's suit that was wrapped around her.
It took her moments of staring upon the sky, and that her eyes sought something that made her say "I want to fly" after seeing a flock passing in the sky.
"So random" Klay murmured to himself.
And after seconds "I want to jump here" that made Klay instantly turned back at her.
"You're not quite sincere with that, aren't you?" He knows that was half meant.
"Kinda" and she grinned, mindlessly. "Do you want to fly?"
"Do you want to die?" all of the sudden.
Klay do not know why he asked such... or that why did their conversation even got into such topic. But he knows that would not surprise her nor that would attain her such reaction.
And he's right as Azul just then simply replied "No" even laughing along. "Why would I?" she roamed her eyes around the nature, and lastly to Klay "What else in this world I should not love? What else in this world would invoke a desire to perish?"
"There's a lot of reason why to desire death, Azul"
"Well you must be right" she shook her head "But certainly not in my world, Klay"
"Oh yeah, you have your own world" they both chuckled.
They don't really do much of bantering and that he's not used at doing such with her or anyone else, they always had a sort of conversation that would get from enthusiastically ridiculous to stern. Yet Klay always get himself surprised about how their conversation goes every time they see each other. It's random, but is getting deeper and poetic? perhaps. He was surprised how it always ends up getting serious or even personal but obnoxious.
He is able to read her, he do not have a hard time scrutinizing and deducing what's in her mind or what emotion is she showing. Azul has always been conspicuous on his eyes. But he knows there's yet he has to perceive about that girl. Neither he was indeed certain if how he read her is as accurate. Is he reading her right, is he understanding her right? Or that what she keep on showing him was accurate?
He recalled her smiles, that seems all benevolent but if you look closer at it there's this melancholy. She is all looking graceful and frail but her actions says otherwise, she's wild and somewhat reckless. Every adjectives just reinforces his thought; that there's more on that girl than meets the eye, thus he should not be complacent about the accuracy of what he sees to her or what she's trying to show him.
Making him wonder things about her much more. He believes that she had much to tell—and that he seems eager to listen at it.
An eager that he keep shrugging off his mind, an interest that made him nag himself over and over again. Pursuing the unconventional fact that he should not get into such interest, it is wrong— it is not fine— it is not okay— he is making a fault— he is growing a sin. He felt like a big liar and a traitor. Although Azul never asked about it, it feels like he has always been denying to her about his commitment with a significant other. And although he was yet not in a level where he could call it an affair, he still feels like he was beginning to betray Yngrid.
