"Who was that?" Dave asked while driving the car out of the downtown area.
Anna bit her lip nervously. A sudden nervousness overtook her though it was a fair question. Dave asked about him, which was only natural because he barely knew the people around her. She, too, would react the same way. It was like an automatic reaction.
Oh, she felt like she was caught off guard.
