Selina’s POV The car ride to school was silent. I sat in the back seat of Ashran’s Mercedes, staring out the window while my wolf hummed contentedly beneath my skin. She’d been quieter since the council presentation. Like she’d finally settled into my bones properly. Aaron sat beside me, reading something on his phone. Alex was up front, messing with the radio.
